| Review Title: Simple color-correcting program |
| Date Reviewed: March 21, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
| Unlike a lot of programs, KaleidoPhoto Pro is happily a small file, so it doesn't take up too much space on your computer and definitely won't bog it down. I have to say it doesn't compare at all with the heavyweights in graphic design and image-editing software such as Corel, Adobe Photoshop, or Paint Shop Pro, since what it simply does is adjust the colors of your image. But it does its job very well and you can't complain about it. The program has a very simple interface so there's no chance of you getting confused about how it works. To get started, you just have to open the image you want to color-adjust. The Color Transform buttons at the bottom of the window quickly converts your image, and the Image Controls at the side is also a breeze to use. Just a note, however: you won't be able to adjust the size of images or even crop them. If you're not that skilled with using image editing programs, KaleidoPhoto Pro can be your best friend because of how easy you can edit your pictures' color quality. |

Oh wow, now this particular program I love. I often have trouble with figuring out the colors in a document using Photoshop, because the Color Sampler Tool only displays up to four samplers, and even then, it doesn't show the hex equivalent. Color Photo Synergizer simply allows you to quickly identify the hex colors in any kind of image file, such as bitmaps, JPEG, TIFF, and GIF. All you have to do is open the image and run your mouse pointer over it and it will instantly give you all the hex colors in your file.
The interface can show you up to nine colors in the file, each swatch indicating where they're located, but you can also randomize the color selection by clicking the 'Randomize!' button to show you other colors in the document. The Mosaic feature also allows you to look at each pixel in the image, but from what I can tell, it only zooms in on one section of the file. It would be nice if you could move around the image for a closer look at the color.
Overall, the Color Photo Synergizer is a very handy helper for Web and graphic designers. |

| Product Reviewed: How To Set Up A Family Budget |
| Category: Free Downloads - All Members |
| Review Title: Very helpful! |
| Date Reviewed: March 22, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
This e-book takes you through the intricacies of setting up a budget for your family and the things you should consider when preparing one. It explains the importance of having a budget and sticking to it, and also includes some tips sent in by other people. Granted, it doesn't really offer anything new about budgets and money-saving tactics, but it compiles nearly ALL possible relevant tips you would be needing. With 53 pages, you probably wouldn't want to print out the whole thing as a reminder for each member of your family though.
It starts out with an introduction on budgeting and then moves on to other chapters which help you figure out your monthly expenses, things you should cut back, what you need to do to stick to your budget, and how it should be used. It also gives some advice on debt consolidation and also has some pretty good ideas on how you can spend some fun quality time together without breaking the bank.
It's simple, readable, and isn't preachy. I recommend this e-book not just for families, but for anyone who needs to scrimp a little. |

| Review Title: Satisfactory tips, unsatisfactory layout |
| Date Reviewed: March 23, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
I'm going to have to agree with Karen on this one. While the e-book contains a lot of sound tips and tricks, its layout could also do with a lot of work. The text is too bunched together and can be hard to read.
The 10 mistakes are all too often committed by graphic and Web designers and they could learn quite a bit from this e-book.
I didn't agree with all of the recommendations here, though. There are a couple of sites the e-book identified that I thought already looked pretty good, but then again, it could just be a matter of personal taste. What looks good to one person might look bad/bare/cluttered to another. Same with the design tips. For example, I and other designers I know prefer to use more muted color hues rather than strong and bright ones, but again--personal taste. The e-book makes a number of good points when it comes to typical design mistakes, but one doesn't always need to follow all the tips mentioned here. |

| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
I've visited this site a few times before and just played around with a bunch of different domain names. It's always fun to see which domain names could fetch a lot of money. Of course, I tried this using my own domain and to my surprise, its appraisal score is 188 and its value is $6,580.00, way more than I had spent on it these past four years. I don't know how accurate Leapfish is, but if that's the value of my domain name, then I'm willing to believe that it speaks nothing but the truth.
Apart from that fun little feature, Leapfish also offers articles on domains, domain registration, and news on the latest top-level domains. I didn't even know that TLDs such as .eu, .aero, and .travel already existed. A regularly-updated Leapfish blog might be a good idea to keep people interested in the whole matter of domains.
I think its main attraction is still the domain appraisal system and with good reason. It's a fun way to pass the time. |

| Review Title: Needs improvement |
| Date Reviewed: March 27, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
I wouldn't call this the definitive guide to dating and relationships, but it will help clear many people's minds. The recommended behavior and courses of action mentioned here are all basically common sense, though they're things many people tend to forget from time to time. I particularly enjoyed the ABCs portion of this e-book. The ABCs of healthy, happy relationships were listed down, followed by the ABCs of unhealthy, sad relationships. It even has tips for people interested in online dating. It ended with a self-help guide though, and the final page contained a sample budget worksheet which would help reduce those messy money arguments. I was expecting a nice wrap-up to the e-book which would encourage the readers to really work at making relationships successful.
The typos in the e-book--such as 'building report' instead of 'building rapport'--may be unnoticeable to some people, but to me, they distract from the content. I'd love to be able to proofread this. I hope an edited, more nicely-laid out version will be released in the future. |

| Review Title: Simple, easy read |
| Date Reviewed: March 28, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
This one is a very easy read and really gives helpful advice to everyone needing help with jobhunting. It's written in a casual tone, perhaps too casual, since it occasionally uses "blah blah blah" when necessary. That's not something you normally see in career guides, is it? It might put off some readers, but you can't argue with the fact that using simple terms and a conversational tone helps people understand more about the topic.
The ebook is entitled 7 Steps To Job Search Success, but it isn't just made up of seven steps. The steps are actually the ebook's chapters and there are other subsections that follow some of these steps, and all of them are extra tips to help you find and land a new job. Anyone reading this ebook will have a clear path to follow in attempting to secure a new job, making this a very good guide. |

| Date Reviewed: March 28, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
Just a note: it recommends that you carefully check your press release first for any typos, but this e-book itself also quite a number of typos. The author needs to go over this again and re-release it.
The book is called Press Release Principles, but it doesn't really say anything more about HOW to write press releases. It only gives basic tips and mostly focuses on how press releases can help your website.
But I have to say this e-book actually elicited my interest. I've been looking for a way to promote some sites via press releases and while I haven't implemented any of these tips yet, the guide still gave me some ideas on how to go about it. I'm not entirely sure if press release sites really do accept press releases for all sorts of websites, so I'm kind of hesitating at the moment, but if I do go for it, I'll definitely be consulting the short e-book. The e-book package also comes with a press release template you can use and a quick HTML guide, by the way.
The tips seem simple enough to follow. I guess what would really be a good measure of this e-book's effectiveness is if everyone tried this out and achieved the same level of success. |

| This e-book is a more than adequate introduction to mystery shopping. It describes what mystery shopping is, what qualities are needed in a mystery shopper, what to be wary of if you're applying to be a mystery shopper, and the duties you will undertake. It's nothing new or groundbreaking, but it does have all the information you're going to need if you're thinking about getting involved in mystery shopping. It's also a decent guide for people who are already working as mystery shoppers and just need a little help in organizing their workload as well as their mystery shopping activities. The e-book also provides lists of equipment and resources for those of us who want to work as a mystery shopper. Save for the typos (my personal pet peeve), I highly recommend this e-book. Good for those who are merely curious, those who are really interested, and those already in this line of work. |

I really got confused the first time I used this and was wondering where on Earth my screenshots were. So I gave up on it after a while and came back to the site a few days later. And what do you know, this time I figured it out. Browser Shots basically takes a picture of your site and displays it as it is rendered in various browsers, hence the name. All you have to do is type your URL, choose which browsers you'd like to see your site in, and hit submit. And THEN you have to wait for 30 minutes for all screenshots to come through.
It's a particularly helpful tool for designers if they want to see how their design would look in other browsers, especially if they only use IE and Firefox. Yet for some reason, it showed that one of my sites looks terrible on a Firefox browser, even though I'm using Firefox myself and don't see anything wrong with my site, so go figure. I only wish Browser Shots had a more instant way to deliver the screenshots to the person who requested them. Waiting 30 minutes to get through the queue of websites awaiting their screenshots is a little annoying. |

| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
...but good enough. Again, it's another small program that's easy to use, although I admit that when I unpacked the files and launched the program, I wasn't too sure how it worked. The program, which goes by the names 'Color Schemer', 'Handy Color Schemer', and 'Portable Color Schemer' (Which is which, anyway? I hope the creator will settle on just one name.), simply identifies the RGB and hex values of the color swatches shown on the interface. It gives you a good idea how certain colors will look. I also thought that the letters and numbers on the interface can't be copied, and it turns out that you actually can. So it's a lot easier for you to copy and paste the color values when you're working on a graphic design or web design project.
For those who don't know what HSV means (it's hue, saturation, value), the program features a View HSV Chart link which takes you to a chart. I think there should have been a brief explanation on this, however.
All in all, it's an adequate product, although I have to say there are better color analysis software out there. |

| Review Title: The e-book's better than the audio |
| Date Reviewed: March 28, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
It doesn't just focus on regular, everyday eating, but also shares some ways on how kids, vegetarians, older people, and pregnant women can choose good food items. Holiday eating is also given attention, and we all know how important it is to limit one's intake of heavy holiday meals, so that's a nice section.
As much as I enjoyed the tips, because the healthy eating advice provided is sound, I personally find the e-book a little hard to listen to. I like audio books that are read by a nice, smooth, and lively (but not hysterically perky) voice, and this one just sounded bland, mechanical, and even computerized to me.
Overall, this could work a lot better if it were just an e-book, and happily this package includes a PDF of the e-book. It would be easier to have such eating tips printed out and ready for you to consult whenever you think you're backsliding into bad eating habits. |

I didn't really think this was very important, since everybody has blogs nowadays, and in any case, it's a lot easier to set up an account. But I suppose this could be used as a resource for total newbies. I thought it would explore other blogging platforms, and the video chose to go with Blogger. I've been using Blogger for a long time, years before Google acquired it, so I was interested to see what tips this video will give. I didn't agree with some of the video's claims, such as how Blogger or Blogspot accounts are indexed more easily by Google 'since they own it in the first place.'
The whole video shows you how to set up a Blogger or Blogspot account and takes you through each step, from registration to posting, which is a plus for the video, and it also clearly explains each feature. Hopefully, it'll be updated, since the video features an older version of Blogger/Blogspot. |

Like what Jeremy said, not a lot of people know about this Google feature. In fact, this is the first time I've heard of and accessed it, and it took me a while to figure out how it works, I have to admit. It's probably not going to make a lot of sense to those who don't care much for stats and all other website-related details. The Webmaster Help Center, which contains FAQs, is also informative and should help people figure out more about why keywords are important in pulling in traffic and what factors can affect your site's Google rank. Site owners might also be interested in seeing which search queries lead most of their Web traffic to their site and it also has a feature which shows which word most frequently appears in your content.
This tool is worthy of bookmarking if you want to stay updated on how your site is currently doing in Google's listings. |

| Review Title: Not that extreme |
| Date Reviewed: March 28, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
40 MB is a little heavy, but it's a 15-minute video, so that's understandable. The video basically consisted of a review of and recommendations for a certain website. I was expecting that there would also be some layout and design work shown, but it mostly focused on the content. While the speaker has some good tips on how to make a site that sells, there are a number of comments I don't particularly agree with. For example, there was a section which said the website offers free edits for a year. Seems like he didn't fully understand that the resume writing service will deliver the job promptly, and that any edits or additions can be included for free for a period of one year. Also, some of the details which the speaker describes as confusing are actually pretty clear already.
From time to time, the speaker speaks in a loud voice, almost shouting, whenever he's stressing a point, and repeats 'damn' a few times. Not very necessary. So in summary, this makeover video is not that extreme at all. |

You've got four e-books at your disposal which you can resell. But are they all worth getting?
- 7 Infamous Resell Rights Questions Answered: It doesn't just let your potential buyers learn more about reselling. It will actually help YOU as well.
- The Golden Rules For Acquiring Wealth: This could have just as easily been written in plain and simple language rather than resorting to flowery words talking about things like "the finest coaches" and words of advice like "let hope predominate but be not too visionary." It almost makes me wonder if this is a financial guide from many decades ago, because I can't imagine financial books nowadays being written in this tone anymore. Moneysaving and moneymaking tips should be clear, simple, and easy to read.
- The Might Of Character Building: It's written in the same tone as The Golden Rules For Acquiring Wealth. It's written as one continuous article and not chopped up into chapters, which makes it a tedious read, even if the content is worthwhile.
- Landing Page Success Guide: This short e-book is an effective guide to optimizing your landing pages. I like how it clearly describes what one needs to do to improve a site's landing page. |

With the number of recipes available here, you wouldn't need to think of romantic meals or wonder which restaurant to visit for Valentine's Day. The selection ranges from breakfast to dinner and even desserts and some mixed drinks. Predictably, you're going to see a lot of 'hearts', 'chocolates', and 'strawberries' in the recipe names. There's even one called "Prawns Of Passion," which just sounds very amusing. Health fiends be warned: this will not contain a list of organic treats, vegetarian delights, or dishes for healthy eating because this contains a lot of food that's just dripping with carbs and sugar. Of course, everyone's free to play around with their own versions of the recipes.
It makes use of a lot of red food coloring, though, in keeping with the color of Valentine's Day. Sometimes, it makes a recipe sound odd, such as red mashed potatoes.
Otherwise, this e-book is laden with lots of food you're going to want to try cooking or baking. You can just whip up several of the dishes here and you'll still have enough meal ideas for the next several Valentine's Days. |

A large chunk of the e-book is devoted to extolling the virtues of exercise, and you're going to need to go over that section, especially if you have a hard time dragging yourself to move your muscles. It's well-written and is a good, organized guide. I like how it offers gym workout suggestions that are broken up into certain periods of time, making the whole process less daunting and lengthy. But its ideas for working out anywhere you are are top-notch, because they really make you see that you can work out at your desk, at home, and with your family too.
I wish the three floor exercises shared here came with illustrations though, just so people can see how they're done. But this e-book gives some very good ideas on how you can integrate working out in your daily life and even in your work schedule and makes it sound so easy. |

Before this, I only know about registering potentially popular domains so some company out there will buy it from you at a hefty price. But I;ve never heard of cashing in on expired domains before, so this caught my eye. The e-book clearly explains why taking control of expired domains is profitable and how you can use it to your advantage, so it had my mental gears clicking and spinning right away trying to think of possible domains I could look up and perhaps use in the future. It also explains why domains expire and also shares some caveats about buying expired domains. The e-book also doesn't leave the reader in the dark and provides the URLs of sites which can help people find out which domains can be used. It would be good if information on what you should do if you got hold of a site marked for spamming without you knowing it, though.
By the way, I noticed the writer made the Maldives his example again for domains, much like he made it his example in the Travel Niche e-book, so it appears he has a fondness for the traveling-to-Maldives niche. |

It's a daunting collection, so you'd better be prepared to pore through the recipes here. The e-books cover different foods, like egg recipes, Italian cuisine, CrockPot recipes, etc. The salad section alone runs up to 374 recipes, and that's just ONE e-book out of a collection of...a lot more than that.
There's nothing fancy-schmancy about the recipes. It's not going to give you nutrition information or tips on where you should buy your ingredients. They're clear and straightforward: they list the ingredients and the steps, and if you're lucky, you would even be treated to the occasional photograph. That's one of my main beefs about this collection. You're going to come up with a massive recipe book, you'd better include pictures to show people how wonderful your dishes are, and also to give them a guide as to how the meal will turn out. Apart from the lack of pictures, I would probably only recommend a reformatting of the pages, just to spice up the look. Not bad if you're just going to print out a page at a time to refer to when you're cooking, though. |

The advice given here seems like it applies to all kinds of writing, not just web content writing, so that makes it appealing to different writers. The way the author dishes out tips will have you convinced that you CAN write articles in the blink of an eye, plus the samples provided could serve as very good templates for your future articles. It's also amusing how one of the tips provided states that you should 'be wordy,' and it totally goes against many writing guidelines which encourage you to be as concise as possible.
And it's not just the article writing part which should hold your attention. It also mentions how you can create teasers to get people to read your piece and how to make engaging author bios. They're all very useful guidelines if you want to build yourself up as a content writer.
The writer of this e-book clearly knows all about producing good content so anyone interested in stepping up their article writing pace will find this very helpful. |

This e-book pack is made up of two books: 50 Children's Christian Stories and Big Book of Classic Christmas Tales. The former is clearly very Christian and refers a lot to biblical characters and stories, but as stories for children, the moral lessons and values are pretty much obvious. The moral to be learned is included after each story's title, but it strikes me weird because sometimes, it says "Moral: Envy", "Moral: Lying," or "Moral: Selfishness," and it sounds to me like those things are what the book is encouraging.
The Christmas stories is made up of over 200 pages and over 30 stories, so it's a keeper if your family has a tradition of telling Christmas stories by the fire during the holidays. Quite a number of them are excerpts from various stories or books, so it may even be a good way to ease young children into getting interested in the actual books. This would probably even be some hefty content for Christmas-related websites. |

This e-book is made up of all of 52 pages, but it's a very good read, and I think I myself learned quite a lot from this. This is a big help for those who want to venture into producing content. It also lets people in on how to increase Adsense revenue and how to greatly benefit from affiliate programs. There's also a sizeable list of resources and useful links.
I'm not sure it should have been called "Article Writing Secrets" though, because it focuses more on drumming up interest and revenue from the content you will be writing rather than how to write articles. The topic was addressed in the first couple of pages and then the e-book dwelled mainly on marketing and earning money from your work. Generally though, I like how this e-book advises people on how to market their products/content in a subtle way, but also stresses how everyone should refrain from spamming and doing some blatant self-promotion. The moneymaking ideas are also very good. I'm extremely keen on trying out the tips given here to see for myself how they could be of use to me. |

When I read the words 'PC Protection,' I thought it was going to be an e-book about protecting one's servers and computers from trojans, spyware, viruses--you get the drift. It turns out that it was talking about real DISASTERS that could strike your computer, from fires to earthquakes to a bug attack, and this means real-life crawling critters. This is a pretty important guide to have, especially since people are now so focused on protecting their computers from spyware et. al. that we forget that there are other external forces that could also be disastrous for us.
It recommends a number of products that are helpful in easing or preventing any problems that could come up. It also provides a number of tips that should already be practiced by anyone with common sense, yet still forget about (like the fact that we shouldn't eat anywhere near our computers).
Apart from being an informative e-book, it's also very entertaining and parts of it are written in a very light-hearted tone. Every computer-based business should have a copy of this one. It would definitely help protect their business from disaster. |

I'm not too well-versed yet in the concept of search engine optimization, Adsense tactics, and niche websites, so this e-book's introduction to niche websites and how to carve a particular niche is educational. Choosing a niche market is also discussed and it offers some ideas to help you decide.
On the topic of travel niche itself, it presents some very convincing arguments why travel is a great thing to look into if you're planning to strike out for the niche website arena. Reading some of the writer's ideas will make you smack your forehead and ask, "Why on earth didn't I think of that?" I'm sure this e-book will give you a nose for sniffing out possible niche markets out there.
On another note, I can see this e-book also followed certain recommended marketing tactics. Most of its topics are written in such a way that demonstrates the writer's knowledge and ends with a line inviting readers to read more about it on the website, sure to gather hits and revenue. Very smart. |

Just to get this thought out of the way: this e-book is very exuberant. Especially when you read a sentence in the introduction which says "I decided to...reveal my secrets!!!" Yeah, it's got a lot of exclamation points littered throughout the e-book, which are probably meant to convey excitement and positivity, but which are no-nos in writing.
Anyway, it's not a very well-written e-book, to be quite frank. Sure, the principles and guidelines are easily understandable, but there's something about the e-book itself that made my attention wander. Also, it's mostly made up of extremely brief, even one-sentence paragraphs. Probably not a problem for many people, but I'm personally displeased by them, especially if they're all following a single idea and should have been put together in one paragraph in the first place, to make it even more easy to follow. If you find it hard to read (just the format, not the wording) but somehow plow through it anyway, you'll find that most of the tips are very encouraging and worth following. |

| Review Title: The title is deceptive |
| Date Reviewed: April 07, 2007 |

Okay, was this e-book talking about being a professional pirate? I'm not too clear on that one, so someone please enlighten me. It talks about copying audio, videos, and files onto CDs or DVDs, so I guess that would be anyone's first thought.
If you already know all about CD-Rs, CD-RWs, DVD-Rs, DVD+RWs, if you already use CD/DVD burning software, if you're already familiar with the process, feel free to skip the first, oh, 24 pages of this 28-page e-book. You won't find anything new here, unless you don't know some of the related terminology, like Block Error Rate or what organic dye is. The information on turning CD duplication as a side business is given on pages 25 to 26, and even then, they're only basic tips on how you can get this business started. I reckon this e-book should have just been called "All About CD Duplication" rather than pulling in readers with the "Making Money" line. |

| Review Title: Easy-to-read format |
| Date Reviewed: April 07, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
| It's not written like a regular e-book which is normally divided neatly into several chapters and headed by an introduction. It looks more like an FAQs section in a website, as a numbered list that runs up to 50 items. It's still simple enough however, and it's a good format for those who really want answers to their questions about setting up a home-based business. It has answers to everything, from why you would want your own business, how to market it, how to do some research on your potential competitors, what you should learn about filing your taxes, and how to handle it if you're going away on holiday, if you've gone broke, and if you've already become so rich you can actually afford to end your business. Overall, a useful resource for people hoping to launch their own company, although it would be a good idea to read the first several items before the tips on how to manage your company if you're already going international. |

| Review Title: A thorough guide |
| Date Reviewed: April 07, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
The title grabbed me right away because I had no idea what 'digital trash' meant. Turns out it was referring to free products or e-books you can get online and resell, so that's one mystery cleared up for those of you who are wondering about it too. This book is all about reselling and the steps you need to take to resell and actually make money from it. Some of the tips include starting a membership site, launching your own paid online course or newsletter, and building an e-book collection. It's good how the chapters are organized into several subsections, which tell you how to get started, the pros and cons, and how you can make money from each step.
The e-book is well-written and fairly simple, and it presents concrete ideas for making the most out of reselling. Complete newbies might need to learn about some terms first before delving into this, but otherwise, readers won't have any trouble grasping the concepts presented. |

| Review Title: Nothing new |

| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
It's not just a for-Christmas-season-only guide, but it's one that's helpful all year round, so I don't see why the title would just specifically target Christmas. After all, safe online shopping shouldn't just be practiced during the holidays. It explains payment methods and how to understand product descriptions so you know what you're getting. Some people would find the information shared here to be very basic, but it's not bad for those who have yet to grasp the concept of online safety and protecting one's identity and credit card information on the Internet. It would probably be a good idea if it also provided more detailed information on reliable shopping websites and how you can spot possible scams, and also to whom you should file complaints if a company took your money and failed to deliver a product.
All in all, this e-book is not particularly exceptional, and contains mainly standard info. I wouldn't recommend getting this if you already know how to protect yourself online. |

| Review Title: Extremely heavy sweetness factor |

Mushiness alert! This seems to be written specifically for male readers looking for ways to woo the women they love, since the ideas shared are mainly focused on making a woman feel special. It's not a bad collection, really, and Michael Webb seems to have had fun thinking of all 101 romantic moves. I say it's worth a look and a download, provided you really don't balk at such recommendations and are willing to try these out.
Apart from men who need suggestions for romantic dates, another group who will benefit from this e-book's content are those who run romance and dating websites. We all know that people are incredibly big fans of love, romance, and dating topics, and your visitors will definitely appreciate what this e-book has to offer.
The end of the e-book enumerates other works written by the author. Thanks to the content found in this one, I'm actually curious to read more about his thoughts and opinions on relationships. |

| Review Title: Full of holiday ideas |
| Date Reviewed: April 09, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
It's full of fun Christmas stuff, from stories, trivia, activities, and of course, recipes. The content appears to be taken from the author's other Chrismas-related books and neatly compiled in this one. It's a fine source of ideas for the holiday season and would be a great help for you when you're planning what activities to include in your celebrations.
The Christmas trivia's particularly interesting, and it will help you learn more about Christmas traditions and how they started. The section on recipes is also pretty good. It focuses primarily on desserts and Christmas candy, but it has some apparently healthful meal ideas for the big night. I can imagine how parents will find this a great guide in making Christmas fun for their kids.
The e-book is detailed and well-written. You might want to consider picking this one up and adding it to your library even though at present it's nowhere near Christmas. It'll help you plan some ideas for later this year. |

| Review Title: Encouraging |
| Date Reviewed: April 09, 2007 |

Anyone thinking about getting involved in Internet marketing but have doubts about one's chances of success can benefit from this e-book. I like how blunt the rebuffs are--they leave no doubt in your mind that the pervasive beliefs about Internet marketing are really ridiculous.
Some of the BS mentioned here can be contradictory, like the one about how easy it is to make money from the Internet and another one about how hard it is to make money online, but that's just the e-book detailing just a few of the misconceptions crawling around. It's written simply and casually and sounds like it's just talking to its reader. Some of the misconceptions identified here could use a little extra explanations though, such as item number 14.
Overall, this is an encouraging read. I particularly like how it helps push people to become independent money earners and how it teaches people to make an effort and not rely on quick-cash schemes. |

| Review Title: Very easy to use |

This one's very easy to install and even easier to use. Don't worry, it won't crowd your computer at all because the program only takes up over 200 KB of space, quite possibly a rarity in most software nowadays, so this alone pleased me already. Interface is very simple. All you have to do is, indeed, fill in the blanks and hit the next button and in just a few minutes you've got an e-newsletter all set to go. You can easily view the results of your, um, hard work by selecting the options after the entire process. You can either see how it looks in the browser or you can also save the HTML file, which is happily editable, so you'll have no trouble customizing the look and content even further. If you mess up, there's always the 'back' button which will let you re-edit your work.
It's the easy option for those who have no clue how to make webpages and design newsletters. For those who already have a considerable level of expertise, this will just allow you to save some time on your work. |
