I thoroughly enjoyed reading this; it made me take a good look at myself and see which bad habits I need to chip away from myself. And take note, these bad habits being discussed don't just have to do with, say, unhealthy lifestyle choices such as excessive drinking or smoking, but they also deal with every possible aspect of your life that may be affecting you adversely. You will also find that this e-book provides plenty of examples, and who knows? You might see yourself in some of the situations too, and hopefully pave the way for change. Perhaps the e-book itself could also inspire you to make some important changes in yourself.

This is the first-ever sober e-book that I’ve seen on SFW, pardon the pun. Of all the e-books in this place, this is probably the most chilling, and yet most informative and realistic e-book I’ve come across. Very well-written, and the intervention principles the author puts forth in this are all psychologically sound. Take it from me, I’m a Psychology graduate.
This is a dose of clarity in a world that thrives on illusions. There is no room for you to delude yourself here. In the privacy of your room, if and when this book actually speaks to you and you finally admit to yourself that you have to go through a process of changing your ingrained patterns, this e-book will guide you on your journey.
It takes honesty and courage to face your demons. But through your confusion, be assured that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and who knows if you come across torches on your way. This one is an excellent torch to light your path.

This is worth a try, November 30, 2007
This reminds me of those twelve-step programs, though this only has six stages and not steps. This is quite a hopeful and empowering e-book. The first chapter itself opens you to new possibilities – that people can indeed change. You can free yourself from that bad habit. I like that the author also underscores real freedom from the bad habit, and not merely getting into another bad habit to substitute the bad habit that has been given up, as is the case for some people.
The stages here make sense – they sound natural, especially Stages 1 (Denial) and 2 (Awareness). What comes after, though, makes the world of difference. Keeping an active lifestyle while getting rid of a bad habit also makes sense – it is kind of replacing the positive with the negative. This way, you don’t replace the negative with another negative. The quotes at the start of each stage are also apt openers and set the tone for each stage.
This is well worth a shot for anyone who wants to get rid of a bad habit.

This eBook is very well written and informative. It actually gives examples and helps you to understand why you have bad habits and how you can control them.
If you are working to get rid of your bad habits this is a must read. So many eBooks give simple examples of working out bad habits, but do not give you the tools you need to work with. This eBook is very helpful in supplying the information and tools to get started right.
