This is one very interesting interview that opened my mind to the limitless possibilities online. Business owner Jim Nelson shows that you can succeed in a very specialized, targeted niche – an “obscure” niche, actually, as the interviewer calls it. With good planning (search engine optimization, pay per click, the works) and some moments of serendipity (Nelson calls them “accidents”), his online business on juggling was already earning a lot after six months since setup.
Just like other very successful niche marketers, Nelson is passionate about what he is doing. He even advises newbies to focus on what they know and love in considering what niche to go into. He also earnestly says that in the long term, “you can’t just do something for the money.”
I am also inspired by his desire to motivate those considering business to start taking action. He shows that anyone can do it, just like him. He calls himself an average person, but an average person who WANTS to do it
