This isn't at all complicated and it launches really easily, too. You don't even have to install a single thing, and clicking the icon quickly launches the program. This is really pretty straightforward--all you need to do is type a URL and it will bring up the information on that address and who registered it and when. You need to be connected to the Internet, of course. If you don't have Whois guard, this will most likely make you think about it because it reveals a lot of information about the owner. By the way, when you do your search, you don't need to type the 'www.'
All in all, this is a very interesting product, and you can find pretty much everything here. I'm not entirely sure to what purpose you can put this (apart from getting in touch with owners of domains you want to have), but it's nonetheless quite nice to have.

When it comes to finding out who owns a particular domain, WhoIs manager is the programme for me. As a blind person it helps me in finding the WhoIs info for a domain a snap, since if you go to your hosting provider to do a search, you're presented with a CAPTCHA (visual verification) which you must type in. My screen-reader software won't read those graphics. I'll be recommending WhoIs manager to all my blind and visually impaired friends.
