Positively: The No Nonsense Approach to Getting What You Want By
Take the time to REALLY read this one, April 09, 2007
Reviewer: Lynn Lopez
Prepare to sit down and absorb the contents of this e-book. If you're really keen on learning how to make positive thinking work for you, you shouldn't simply rush through the advice given here. Even if you already finish it, it's something you're going to want to keep handy and regularly check for reference, just in case you forget some of the lessons here.
This lengthy e-book doesn't just focus on positive thinking itself, but also helps you pump up your own self-esteem, which would help you in thinking more positively. It also lets you in on the various aspects which contribute to a better, improved outlook on life and helps you develop them. It's not at all preachy and I like how it gives you exercises and activities to work on.
There's not a lot of things I could find wrong about this one, except perhaps for the placement of the footnotes, but that's just a very minor problem.

an entertaining new look into positive thinking, August 15, 2007
Reviewer: Lorie Therese Locara
I wanted to read something fun in a long time, and I finally found it in this e-book. True, I read Norman Vincent Peale and I know how the positive thinking thing works, but this gave it a fun twist, in a slightly sarcastic way.
Very organized, very entertaining to read, very engaging. I loved reading the e-book and it entertained me from start to end. With subtitles like "Positive Thinking is a Bunch of Crap – and Crap Makes Great Fertilizer," to "Self-Esteem: Catching the I-Love-Me Disease," who won't be caught up in the fun-ness of this e-book?
It is also peppered with sensible quotes from well-known people. These quotes served to make me reflect on how I'm thinking, on what principles actually guide my life, and whether or not I can actually apply this "Positive Thinking" thing in my daily existence.
On the whole, I find this book a refreshing new look to a philosophy that the pessimists may say is trite. This is a resource that you should not be without, and even if you don't buy it, it's a good respite from this stressful world.

Be a positive thinker or else…, September 24, 2007
I like the wit in this e-book, starting from the introduction – positive thinking is a bunch of crap, and crap makes great fertilizer. True! Though the planting and harvesting analogy has been used many times already, I like the way the author used it in this e-book. In one chapter he asks a very thought-provoking question, “What’s in your garden right now?” that can just help you make an honest assessment of your attitude. The personality test here looks light and fun, though can hit a raw nerve, if any – and it should.
There is also advice here for dealing with traumas and bad things and then moving forward to dreaming and setting goals complete with positive thinking and visualization. The checklist of the positive thinking process at the end is a good summary of the e-book’s contents and is also a good reminder.
My only complaint with this e-book is that the table of contents is crammed with too much items – even when the subheadings only take up less than page. The table of contents can be trimmed down into just the major headings. Otherwise, the e-book is already very good as it is.
