Main atrocious reason I nearly cried: the grammar and terminologies used.
Before I snark on the grammar and the terminologies, I would like to say that you can still learn quite a lot from this e-book. The e-book covers trends from the Web 2.0 community, and if you’re not a techie-slash-English buff like I am, then you’d do fine reading this e-book.
But if you are a stickler for accuracy, your best bet would be to read up and not take the content here are sealed and immutable truth or constitutionalized law.
When reading this, better check with more reputable sources, like ZDNet, where technology articles are more credible.
But to the author’s credit, this does give ideas on how to benefit from Web 2.0’s user-oriented social networking website platforms. Another thing is that the diagrams are so much of eye candy that I will keep this e-book for them.
Lovely to look at, just read with a grain of salt, and a lot of side research.

Web 2.0 Secret Report By KP Yang

2.0 are available then, so you're spared my incredulous tone. This e-book tries to explain what Web 2.0 is and fails, so I'm not particularly impressed by the e-book as a whole. I mean, "Web 2.0 is a like a social community on the Internet? (sic)" It's poorly written, to be honest. It seems to me like the author does have a decent grasp on what Web 2.0 is, but has no idea how to write about it. Instead, the author appears to talk about Web 2.0 like it's a program or a service, and not how the current face of the Internet actually is. It introduces sites like Squidoo and Hubpages and tells you how they work, but that's mostly what it contains. With a title like Web 2.0 Secret Report, I would have expected some really serious digging into Web 2.0, how it came about, how it changed the Internet, how people nowadays are more involved in online activities, that sort of thing. A disappointing offering.
