I'm never one to dismiss older products, since they are usually a good indication of how far the field has come since the time the material was written. This one isn't especially OLD, really, but changes happen quite rapidly with the Internet. This discusses at great length how the process of submitting articles has changed in 2006. It's so last year, I know, but you might still want to get this one to keep tabs on trends throughout the years, as well as compare them to current trends. It's still a very good resource nonetheless, with very smart tips that may still be applicable in 2007. I say it's also written as a pretty good introduction to the author's related article submission product. Just get this one and hang on to it, so by the time guides on trends for 2008 start rolling out, you can see for yourself how things have changed, or maybe even anticipate marketing trends.

Using Content And Articles By Jason Potash
Do not do business online without this!, September 30, 2007
Reviewer: Lorie Therese Locara
This is actually an eye-opening e-book about how article submission works. If you’ve been hanging around this website for so long, you would realize that so many people are advertising PLR, are advocating article submission, and other tactics to drive traffic to their websites. While it is understandable that people would want short cuts, this e-book takes a stern look at how that won’t work at all.
You may have heard that Google is allergic to duplicate content. Heed that, and this e-book will tell you why you have to. You may also have heard that trying short cuts in the search engine optimization game is a no-no. Heed that, too. Because if you won’t, you will end up banned from the search engines!
This e-book is not your usual, upbeat Internet Marketing resource. This takes a sober look into what you should NOT do in the SEO business. If you want to succeed online, pay an attentive ear to this e-book. It will be worth the time you took to read this!

Using Content And Articles By Jason Potash
Good points, February 06, 2008
Though this report was written for 2006, the essence of the advice here is still good to follow – never use quick, black hat techniques for your online business success because people will get smart eventually, turning your sudden success into failure and loss of credibility. Instead, use the honest, sometimes slow – but sure – methods.
As the author Jason Potash has predicted, more and more Internet marketers are recognizing the value of articles. But some want to do it the quick, lazy way, and Potash shows just how this can be deadly to your online business.
Potash writes bluntly but honestly, and I believe some, if not most, readers would appreciate his sharp wit. The illustrations here are entertaining as well. I especially like the “spam” illustration and the turtle and tortoise race illustration to show just how the world of article marketing has changed.
All in all, though this report is old, it is still worth reading.
