Market This To The Niche!, March 12, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Kosta Efstathiou |
Pros:
Giveaway Rights.
Cons:
No website or promotional material.
Not good for us internet marketers, because we don't want to work for someone.
Bottom Line:
This eBook covers the subject well. Its best to use this eBook to target the "Job Seekers Niche." The author does a good job branding himself with the header on every page.

Some basic information and good nuggets, March 12, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lee Lister |
As somene who sells successfully into the career environment - this is a reasonable introduction for career seekers. There are one or two good nuggets there but a lot of same 'ol and very basic information. Very little on resume writing.
The formatting of the book was extremely annoying - particularly from a company that should be perfect. The page was not justified, line spacing was random and references were made to other articles not given. Just looked hurried and thrown up.
Overall not something I would use. |

Might Call, March 12, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Earl H. Roberts |
If this book was indicative of the job-seeker's application it would end up in the "Might Call" pile instead of the winner's circle. While the ideas inside are definitely helpful for anyone actively seeking reassurance about finding a job it also definitely needs work on the grammar, on the presentation and with the format.
Just because something is designed to be given away for free is no excuse for delivering less than top quality. Everything given to the public is perceived as a sample indicative of what to expect in the finished product. Even if it is obviously not your product being handed out you will still be judged by its contents if you do.
Because this is a free product we have less to gain by handing it out on the one hand, and we run the risk of offending our clients if we do pass it on.
It really wouldn't take that much more time for the author to run through this manuscript looking for the grammatical errors and rearranging it for more impact. I would also suggest deleting at least half of the back links to the company office so that it looks less like a streaming sales rush and more like a manual that wants to help the applicant get the right job. |

Simple, easy read, March 28, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
This one is a very easy read and really gives helpful advice to everyone needing help with jobhunting. It's written in a casual tone, perhaps too casual, since it occasionally uses "blah blah blah" when necessary. That's not something you normally see in career guides, is it? It might put off some readers, but you can't argue with the fact that using simple terms and a conversational tone helps people understand more about the topic.
The ebook is entitled 7 Steps To Job Search Success, but it isn't just made up of seven steps. The steps are actually the ebook's chapters and there are other subsections that follow some of these steps, and all of them are extra tips to help you find and land a new job. Anyone reading this ebook will have a clear path to follow in attempting to secure a new job, making this a very good guide. |

A must-read for job seekers, September 18, 2007 |
This e-book tells you in seven, systematic steps how to land the job you want. The author, Jason Adams, gives new, unconventional insights about job hunting. He gives the right mindset while looking for jobs and emphasizes that it is not about your credentials, but how well you did your homework. In this e-book, Adams teaches you how to weave a compelling story that will hold the hiring manager’s attention and entice him/her to give you the “call.” He also gives tips on doing things with the right timing – for example, when to answer ads. And of course – what to expect in job interviews.
That the author has 30 years of working in different companies and hiring and interviewing candidates lends weight and credibility to the advice in this e-book.
The e-book is concise and easy to read, offering very practical advice. Anyone who wants to land his/her dream job should read this.

resource you shouldn't miss.. at least for your customers!, November 10, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lorie Therese Locara |
This is actually an essential for job-seekers. But if you’re skeptical about the fact that you can’t find a cover letter or a resume sample in here, well, let’s face it, this is a free e-book, meaning it’s just a lead to a sale. Click any of the links in here, those at the footer, and you will be taken to Jason Adams’ site, where he sells, you guessed it! Resume and cover letter-writing resources! You just have to admire his ingenuity.
But despite having those two elements lacking, this FREE resource is already your primer for a job search. It prepares you for the process itself. The highlights for me include:
1) The first tip on page 4, which is to get your personal life in order. This advice may be simple, but it’s so sensible, because if you think about it, one factor that keeps people from relentless focus is a messy personal life. With this sensible advice, you get your messy personal life out of the way, in order to focus on this job hunt. Sensible, right?
2) The reminder that no one owes you a job, on page 7. This should spur you to be persistent and resourceful in your job hunt.
True, this is not something internet marketers/entrepreneurs could relate to, but let’s face it, this is something YOUR customers might need. If not this free e-book, you can look for means to resell Jason Adams’ system itself. Heck, if I had the money to use now, I’d do a JV with this guy!
The material is sensible and to the point. Truly a resource worth passing around.. Or even reselling, if you could get Jason to partner with you! |
