A Good Guide, February 06, 2010

"How to create a town portal website" is a good guide for anyone who wants to create a town portal website. I followed the steps in order and was able to get my site up and running in under an hour. But there was a problem: The report has a link to download themes created by the author. When I clicked on the link to download them, I got a 404 error. The product needs to be revised and edited to include a working download link. To get the themes, I had to go to the authors site and sign up to access them. Other than that, I give 2 thumbs up for the guide.

Although the info is fairly good, it is out of date and screen shots do not match what you will actually encounter.

If you feel confident around finding what it describes, then go for it ....
