If you're expecting headlines from Jay's 100 Greatest Headlines Ever Written or Carl's 2001 Greatest Headlines Ever Written, you're going to be disappointed.
Both those volumes are good and I recommend you to get a copy of them, but these headlines are different. These headlines are mine.
This is my OWN private collection of headlines. They're my "muse," my source of ideas and inspiration. Some you may have read before. Many you'll find nowhere else.
You see, over the years, I've studied literally thousands of pieces of mail looking for those 'gems' of sales copy that I could use in my own projects.
I look at everything: the good, the bad, the unstoppable. I categorize the efforts from 'best' to 'worst' and whenever I get a sales letter that really knocks my socks off, I put it into my 'golden' file cabinet.
If I had to name just ONE invaluable "tool" that has helped me creating sales messages and pulling in millions of dollars, it's this file cabinet. It's truly solid gold!

79 Dragon Slayer Headlines From Dan Lok By Dan Lok
Lots of fun headlines!, May 22, 2007
Reviewer: Lynn Lopez
Boy, is this an attention-grabbing title for a product or what? I guess that's already a clue that the creator of this collection, Dan Lok, does know his stuff. It might kind of befuddle you a bit because the title promises 79 headlines but the author says he's prepared 77 headlines. Once you get through all of them items, you will find that there's actually a total of 95 headlines in this e-book because the author included 16 bonus ones.
Anyway, the headlines ARE very catchy and certain to yank people's attention to your message and website. They really follow all the guidelines for copywriting, and really do make sure that potential customers will be intrigued by the message and what you have to offer. If you're stumped for headlines for your own products, you can turn to this one to get ideas. Just make sure you're not copying any of them!

79 Dragon Slayer Headlines From Dan Lok By Dan Lok
Shocking, but not necessarily convincing, September 14, 2007
No doubt these are all attention-grabbing headlines that appeal directly to the emotions, with some having a high shock factor, like “Naked, Stripped Of All That I Had!” Depending on the audience, though, some may be doubtful of some of the headlines here which may appear to be over-promising like “How To Make People Line Up And Beg You To Take Their Money.”
To his credit, though, the author Dan Lok does know how to stir emotions or at least interest. He uses compelling words and phrases like “Only way to,” “what if,” and so on.
The author claims that these headlines are from his “million-dollar file cabinet.” To build credibility on his claim, he should have told exactly how these headlines made him money. Case studies of one headline for each category would help.
I appreciate that the headlines were organized by category – one is on martial arts, bodybuilding and health, another is on business and investing, and so on. This would save on the time of those who only want to see headlines relevant to their online business.
