A great way to start your year: Buckle down for some alone time with this e-book!, January 02, 2008 |
| Reviewer: Lorie Therese Locara |
You want to turn your life around, and you want to do it in a thorough way.
This e-book would help and guide you to make your resolutions and follow through with them. Over and beyond helping you make the list itself, it’s also a guide to a true metamorphosis. This is an encouragement for those who want to have a paradigm shift in life: you don’t need to plod through turning your life around blindly. This e-book will help you and will help you heal from your previous life choices.
There is only one thing I don’t like in this e-book and that’s the fact that there aren’t any pictures and the layout needs work.
But the bottom line is that this e-book is packed with what you need to turn your life around and stick to those New Year resolutions you’ve made. It actually feels like a teacher or a mother were coaching me through my metamorphosis.
And the best part? It’s free. :) |

This isn't rehashed stuff, it's a quality product that I can happily offer to my discerning readers
There is plenty of scope to make money with this book. It's worth the time it will take to download and rebrand. |

Um. The first page didn't bode too well. The subtitle "HOW The 10% ACCOMPLISH New Year’s Resolutions" wasn't promising at all. Fortunately, any such negative impressions will change the moment you delve into the meat of the e-book. This e-book will show you how you should make AND keep the New Year's resolutions you just made a couple of weeks ago. Does it sound like a product you don't appear to need? Given the fact that a lot of people make and break New Year's resolutions (me included), I'd say this is a pretty vital product to have around. Plus, it will really help you keep your focus; best to print this out so you can have easy access if you find yourself faltering.
Overall, it is a very good read, one that you should have with you throughout the year if you're determined to make serious changes in your life. |

Good advice, January 17, 2008 |
If you have problems keeping your New Year’s resolutions, this book is for you. Author Debra Thompson outlines in detail why people fail to fulfill their New Year’s resolutions and shows how you can be different.
I like that this book is detailed, yet clear and concise. It is written in a very personal and engaging tone as well. The advice is very specific and actionable, unlike some other New Year’s resolutions books I read before.
I also like the quotes from successful people here before the start of each section. And, there are some insightful “quotable quotes” from the author as well, for example, “Success is not an accident.”
My only nitpick is the way the colors were used in this book. While I have no problem with the occasional use of red to highlight points, large sections of red are quite an eyesore. Also, I cannot distinguish the difference in importance between the red text and the black text.
Also, section titles could be shortened for greater impact. For example, “Resolutions Require Conquering Procrastination” could be simply trimmed down to “Conquer Procrastination.”
Those minor nitpicks aside, though, this e-book is a great read.
