Hardly a Formula, January 20, 2007 |
This product has a lot of accurate information. But I don't believe it lives up to it's title. A formula is a step by step plan.... - a road map -.....which this is not. This product should have been call "The Attitude Adjustment for Online Marketers" or something like that because the whole document is about changing the behavior of the marketer through attitude, action, etc.
So, it doesn't mean the information is no good, it just doesn't live up to the title. I found it quite a bit misleading. |

The Magic Formula
By Simon Hodgkinson
Pros:
Master Resell Rights.
Website.
Cons:
There are a couple of grammatical errors. I suggest MS Word spellcheck with "check grammar" selected; also a second person to proof read your masterpiece.
A misstatement: "There are no shortcuts to success!" I'm sure his point was that you have to do the work needed to succeed.
Example:
Reading an eBook explaining the steps to success instead of finding a piece here and there is a shortcut to success.
Bottom Line:
This is a very positive and inspirational eBook. He gives it to you straight and explains the following well...
The Formula:
Find things that hinder success.
Eliminate Them.
SUCCESS!
14 success-hindering mistakes identified.
14 detailed solutions explained.
8 pages of worksheets are included.
Good font and color choices. The author might benefit from reading "E-Book Profit Centers Revealed!" By Edmund Loh, in order to find some of the many ways to further monetize his eBook besides the viral backend sales pitch.

A different title would be nice, April 28, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
| Bold text, orange highlights, exclamation points--yep, this e-book makes me think the author is jumping around in front of you and shouting the tips in your face. I reckon the title should have been something like "The Mistakes That Keep You From Succeeding" or something similar, and not "The Magic Formula." The book mainly contains, yes, a total of fourteen common mistakes people make that prevent them from achieving success in the Internet marketing field. Each section ends with tips of correcting your mistakes, and the last few pages of the e-book also lists the mistakes and provides spaces for you to fill in when you get ideas on how to correct these. If you need an e-book that cheers you on and reminds you to keep your focus, this is the one for you. Pick up this e-book for yourself to keep as a reference and a guide, and sell this to your site members too. It'll be a great help for you and your members. |

engaging, might prove crucial to your business., September 07, 2007 |

The hook for me with Simon Hodgkinson’s e-book started at the attractive orange cover page. When I read the opening lines, I sank deeper into the e-book, and by the time I read about Mistake #1, I was ready to throw the afternoon away.
Selling point of the e-book: points out the mistakes, then gives the solution. This feature was what made it different from the other e-books. While the other e-books of a similar nature saturated you with principles and theories, this one actually, genuinely helps you. Because if you are the type of business owner who does not have a clue what on earth you’re doing, you would be helped with this because this points out what you’re doing wrong. That way, you can relate your Internet Marketing experience and rectify what you’re doing wrong.
This e-book can also be applied to real world/brick-and-mortar businesses, so it is absolutely useful.
Get it as soon as you finish reading this review. :) |
