| | | Product Reviewed: RoboForm | | By: Siber Systems, Inc. | | Category: | | Review Title: Finally, a portable 'keeper of the keys'. | | Date Reviewed: January 28, 2007 | | Reviewer: Mitchell Harter | If you're on the login page, it will fill itself in, so the next time it can do it automatically. In addition, it stores its info apparently, 1 file per login site. when you click on the file, it fires up a browser and logs you in.
Copy the info folder to your other computers (or USB memstick) and keep them in sync.
Generates unique passwords and remembers them for you. I thought, why would anyone need this? then it occured to me; i no longer have to use the same password everywhere i go, or write them down (defeating the reasons for having passwords in the first place). Roboform remembers them for you.
You also have the option to password protect each login/password entry.
The only thing I've found 'missing' so far is a 'Roboform defined' copy/save/export/import scheme. fortunately, it is as simple as using "My computer" to copy the folder, but still...:-) | |

| | Comment By: Mitchell Harter | Comment Date: February 05, 2007 | Get Robo2Go. it uses a USB memory stick that you can use on any computer without installing any software.
You don't have to keep track of *anything*.
Of course, those USB sticks are awfully small... |
