Q. Please tell us a little about your background.
A career consultant for 25 years, during which I was MD of 3 recruitment companies, a management consultant with KPMG and director of Penna PLC

Q. What made you decide to start a website in the field?
To reach more people and share my expert knowledge than I was able to on a one-to-one basis.

Q. What kind of research went into this niche area before building your website?
Extensive research based on my own experience and the way this type of knowledge was presented on the web.

Q. How did you design and build your website?
In order to create an easy to follow system I used the model I've always used which starts simple then builds.

Q. What software do you use to run your business?
Sitesell's SBI!

Q. How does your website generate income?
Through unique ebooks that I have written and uploaded as downloadable pdf documents. Adsense adverts are also useful.

Q. How do you collect payments for your products or services?
I use PayPal for payment processing and collection with PayLoadz for delivery and upselling.

Q. What promotion methods do you use?
Primarily the content of the site is pre-selling. The ebooks are available to affiliates.

Q. Which method has proven to give you the best sales results?
So far the content has proved most effective.

Q. Which method of traffic generation has proven to be the best for you?
I've just started a blog and I think this is looking good.

Q. What is your biggest challenge each month?
Being creative and producing new content and materials.

Q. What's the biggest mistake you've made since starting your business?
Thinking it would happen quickly.

Q. How has your lifestyle changed since you started your online business?
Work at home fully, giving me more time with my family.
