A cleanup would be nice, September 13, 2007

Two words: very cluttered. It has far too many navigation sections which are all used for the same purpose anyway, and the design is just unappealing and doesn't draw the eye to a certain spot. It can also be annoying to be bombarded by ads ads ads everywhere, especially if it's the first thing you see instead of the content, an obvious ploy to get people to click them. Apart from that, this really does have a lot of content to offer. The content varies, and you're sure to find something here that will hold your interest. It may even keep you glued to the website for quite a while. The articles aren't bad at all, interesting even, it's just the layout that may wear out your eyes a bit. I think it's a good site already, but it could be made much better with fewer ads and better organization.

Overwhelming, December 05, 2007

Yes, that is one word to describe this website. As if the heading “Hobbies, Awards, Inspirations, and much more…” is not enough, the description that follows is what makes the website really overwhelming. Here the author partially lists his hobbies and interests – that’s just partial, and yet the list is quite long already!
It does not help that the website looks too cluttered with text, leaving not much space to breathe. Your refuge, though, is in the menu, which looks well-organized into categories and sub-categories. The menu could have been set in a bigger font for easier reading, though. There is a sitemap as well to help you wade through the voluminous information.
I expected the menu to contain just the said hobbies and awards of the website author but there are also options here for a navigation bar, which I think should have been separate.
However well-organized the menu is, I am not very comfortable of cramming all the author’s hobbies and interests in one website – it is too general and lacks focus. Impatient web visitors may not just take the time to look through the menu. However informative your articles may be, the way you present it ultimately decides whether they get read or not.
