I'm 35 years old and living in the Netherlands.

Q. What made you decide to start a website in the field?
After getting a large collection of e-books and software through various give aways and membershipsites (as sure fire wealth) I decided to build this site.

Q. What kind of research went into this niche area before building your website?
Key word research and web design research: What colors to use on the site, what e-commerce program to use, how to setup OS commerce, which I'm currently using.

Q. How did you design and build your website?
Part of the site is build with XSite-Pro and the shop is a modified version of OS-commerce.
I've joined various forums regarding webdesign to get feedback from other webmasters.

Q. What software do you use to run your business?
Of course OS commerce, but also autoresponders, adtracking, and software to create my own advertising.

Q. How does your website generate income?
By selling Cookbooks and adsense.

Q. How do you collect payments for your products or services?
At the moment accepting Paypal, so everyone can use creditcards.

Q. What promotion methods do you use?
Search engines, forums, linkexchange, articles, pay per click.

Q. Which method has proven to give you the best sales results?
Don't know yet after only one month.

Q. Which method of traffic generation has proven to be the best for you?
Sofar pay per click is giving the best results.

Q. What is your biggest challenge each month?
Attracting more visitors and more important, more buyers.

Q. What's the biggest mistake you've made since starting your business?
It still has to come (and probably will)

Q. How has your lifestyle changed since you started your online business?
It hasn't changed (yet;-) )

It will not be easy since there are a lot of recipe-sites, but it is a great challenge to become one of the successfull sites.
