This is Great!, September 15, 2007

This is a great site! It is packed full of so much information, this is all you need to find everything you could dream about cooking. This site covers everything from low fat cooking recipes to Proven Picky Eater Strategies. It has a nice layout and is easy to navigate through, The title of this website could have been more eye catching, I didn’t realize what this site was about until my eye caught the Niche Market Target. There is a home bound dining guide that is nice, and also the recipe builder is a good alternative to a cookbook, you can set it up with your favorite recipes and can edit it as you want. I can’t say enough about this site, its 5 stars in my book.

Difficult to read, September 17, 2007
Reviewer: Claire Madarang
This website covers cooking and examples of recipes from different countries as well as ingredient-specific recipes like ham recipes, prime rib recipes and more. There are also low-fat recipes and recipes for kids. Though these recipes are all nice to know, it would be good to organize these recipes by category in the menu instead of putting them all together in the menu.
Reading the content in this website was quite a struggle for me. Majority of the sentence constructions here are awkward, with liberal mistakes in grammar and spelling. The mistakes here are quite distracting, taking away attention from the main message. I suggest the business owner hire a writer to make the website reader-friendly.
Also, there is no problem with putting ads in a website, as long as the “highlight” in the website is still the content. With the current layout, though, the ads here at the right side are given more space than the content itself.
The layout, though, except for the problem with ads, is generally easy on the eyes. Photos are also appropriate.

A nice little site, September 24, 2007

With a name like "The Cooking Recipes Advisor," I was expecting a substantial compendium of recipes, but Faguebaz.com turned out to be quite different from what I thought it was. The site mainly provides the history and background information on different types of cuisine around the world, which makes for interesting reading. While it contains some very basic recipes, it also focuses more on cooking tips you can apply in the kitchen, guides on buying the ingredients for your dishes, as well as nutrition information for the health-conscious.
Unfortunately, the site is also littered with grammatical errors. With a little extra tweaking, it would be a breeze to read through.
Overall, if you're looking for a database of recipes, this site won't be of much help to you. But it does make a great guide to food preparation and there are plenty of tips you might like to clip and keep handy whenever you're preparing a meal.
