Good, but doesn't just focus on what it claimed to be its main topic, April 18, 2007

I thought the name 'Silk Road Consultants' was pretty, so I had to take a look at it. Obviously, it had something to do with China, and as a matter of fact, the group provides travel information for people who want to visit China.
Digging through the site's contents was fun. I like the travel advice given here, because they're all well-written and informative, but my main issue is: I thought they were focusing on China? The main page text said so. Then for some reason, some of the sections veer off into discussing, for example, horseback riding in Africa and travel and tourism in Sierra Leone. Doesn't seem very China-focused now, does it?
Then there are also sections for the Americas and for European travel. What's going on here? If they said they were "making a focus on China" then that's what they should have done here. If not, they should have said they provide travel information for different countries across the globe. As it turns out, "China Focus" is but a small section in the site, and the contents don't seem all that different from what the other sections have to offer.

Informative travel website, but should be organized, November 30, 2007
Reviewer: Claire Madarang
This is an information-packed website on vacation spots, especially China, where the author of website has had the most traveling experience. There are tips on traveling and “surviving” in the featured countries. There are also vacations for different tastes – there are yachting vacations, horseback riding and more. The look and layout of the website is plain and simple but easy on the eyes.
While I appreciate the breadth of information in this website, I wish it were better organized and this website easier to navigate. Upon selecting a link from the home page, I discovered that there are other sub-links from that link which are only viewable once you get to that link. If each link has sub-links, why not put them in the main menu in the home page? Also trouble is that there is no “Home” option in the menu or navigation bar. You have to press “Back” several times if you got far in reading many sub-links. Also, for a website with so much information, a site map is a must. The search function at the bottom is helpful, but it is no substitute for a website with well-organized content.
