Q. Please tell us a little about your background. My day job was an Accounting Clerk. I knew there had to be a better way of making a living. I fell in love with Internet marketing and niche sites. Being a music loving musician, my SheetMusicForSongs website provides the perfect marriage between the two.
Q. What made you decide to start a website in the field? I love music and I am a musician and I wanted to provide others like myself with the opportunity to obtain sheet music quickly.
Q. What kind of research went into this niche area before building your website? Mostly online research. I wanted to give a full perspective on the history of sheet music and the purpose of sheet music.
Q. How did you design and build your website? I had a basic template in it's origin and built using html code. Then I outsourced for the current template.
Q. What software do you use to run your business? NoteTab Light, Notepad and Internet Explorer
Q. How does your website generate income? It's an affiliate site.
Q. How do you collect payments for your products or services? The website visitor completes their purchasing transaction through the affiliate company, Musicnotes.com
Q. What promotion methods do you use? At this time, Pay per click (PPC), email marketing and forum marketing.

Q. Which method of traffic generation has proven to be the best for you? Pay per click (PPC)
Q. What is your biggest challenge each month? Making sure I keep up to date with the most current special offers.
Q. What's the biggest mistake you've made since starting your business? Not increasing my advertising budget enough.
Q. How has your lifestyle changed since you started your online business? At this point, I haven't noticed much change but hoping to shed my day job and market my niche site full time in the near future.
