Q. Please tell us a little about your background. Rob has spent most of his career in Commerical IT as a computer programmer/analyst and Bev as an accountant. Bev is also qualifed in fitness and nutrition and is a published "ghostwriter" for Harper Collins
Q. What made you decide to start a website in the field? We decided there was a market for good quality Christian books,and being Christians we felt it was an area we knew about
Q. What kind of research went into this niche area before building your website? We did quite a lot of research by looking at other sites, finding ebooks to sell and also joining CJ and Amazon where our main shopping site is affiliated to. And also read lots of books
Q. How did you design and build your website? We used xsitepro
Q. What software do you use to run your business? For the accounts side I use great software which is not really known in the US called Sage. I also used various parts of Office for different parts of the business
Q. How does your website generate income? We sell ebooks but also through our affiliates
Q. How do you collect payments for your products or services? Paypal
Q. What promotion methods do you use? Mainly through PPC, signatures on email, word and mouth, and putting articles on different article sites,message board
Q. Which method has proven to give you the best sales results? PPC
Q. Which method of traffic generation has proven to be the best for you? Word and mouth and message boards
Q. What is your biggest challenge each month? Keeping all our sites updated with quality articles
Q. What's the biggest mistake you've made since starting your business? This site is new so we are not sure what our mistakes are here yet.
Q. How has your lifestyle changed since you started your online business? It has changed because we no longer go out to a 9 to 5 job but most of our work is based online

I would also say if you don't know something then ask, we have found people who are always willing to share. But don't sit there build and get it live even if it is small to start with.
