A fun read, April 24, 2007

This is a very fun site to look through, if you enjoy this sort of thing. The person behind this site clearly has a passion for motion picture special effects and explains everything in great detail. It's probably best for people who can understand the terms used, but really, it's not bad at all for people who have little knowledge about these things.
Curiously, the site also provides a list of schools and universities. I'm not sure if all of them offer courses related to filmmaking and computer-generated special effects, though. It would be nice if there was a note mentioning this.
I can see it working best as a blog containing regular updates on the industry and the technology and equipment being used to make movie magic possible. It has a news section (last updated in February as of this writing), but it would be much more in its favor if it were updated a lot more frequently.

Anyone interested in the art and science of movie special effects, or just enjoy the creative arts, you can spend hours reading, learning and watching videos on this site. The website is very striking, using colors and visual tools that draw you in. This is a site you can not say enough about if you enjoy this type of thing .The best thing you can do, is see for yourself what a great site this is.
