Q. Please tell us a little about your background.
I have been in the printing and publishing field for 25 years and currently own and operate Media Print, Inc.
Q. What made you decide to start a website in the field?
I have always wanted to do something to further spread the word of God.
When I was in High School my goal was to become a Pastor.
Other things prevented me from pursuing that. I worked in a Newspaper for 14 years before taking a job at a Catholic printery as President and General Manager.
While there, I had the opportunity to see what was right and what was lacking in Spirit with the church and its following and decided to take advantage of our unique position and start a Christian Youth Magazine called 'iNSPiRE'.
When the printery shut down I took the magazine with me and vowed to myself that I would find a way to continue.
Over the past 4 years, the need to make the internet a better place for kids & family has taken a lead role in my day to day life.
At this point I started to map out the mission for building a site like JesusPhish.
Our mission is two fold.
First, to provide a safe, secure and Spirit filled membership site for Christians and those seeking Christ by providing a vast amount of resources and tools to fill their daily lives with hope, inspiration and love.
Second, to use the funds from JesusPhish to build a Youth Center in my city and continue to branch out developing additional Youth Centers in other cities and states.
The Youth Centers will be state-of-the-art centers that will include Internet, Internet Gaming, Internet Business training (allowing its students to build businesses and retain money for college education and scholaships). The center will also include the usual video games, pool tables, cafe and dance/meeting area.
Weekly youth group meetings (city wide) and morning bible study for church communities and more...
Q. What kind of research went into this niche area before building your website?
Literally years of thought, planning and research.
Once I developed a slight understanding on how to prepare for a membership site, I started to implement the strategies of the Master Marketers and the tools they use to research, keywords, customer buying habits in the niche market, Google Adword Ads and what they offered, SEO optimization tools for the site and how to effectively use them, and a wide variety of searches on all the products related to a Christian Membership site.
Q. How did you design and build your website?
By trade, I work with designers and have done layout and design for marketing brochures, hotel map guides, magazines and books and wanted to incorporate a soft, serene, welcome to my site look and that is how it developed.
Q. What software do you use to run your business?
Many different softwares such as:
* The Dowser for keyword and adword analysis.
* Keyword SpyTool to see what the competition is using.
* SEO Elite to optimize my sites.
* WordPress to create our Blogs.
* Various Forum software
* Our own Membership and Personal Desktop Management and Calendaring software - which is brandable for other membership oriented sites.
* Various RSS softwares
There are more but the list could go on for another day.
Q. How does your website generate income?
Our site generates income from a variety of ways.
First, we sell access to our monthly membership area.
Second we have developed products of our own for sale and have partnered with others to sell their products or services through JesusPhish.
Q. How do you collect payments for your products or services?
Via, PayPal or Credit Card using AuthorizeNet.
Q. What promotion methods do you use?
Google Adwords, blogs, articles, linking, forums, press releases, purchased targeted traffic,classifieds, ezines and a variety of other methods.
Q. Which method has proven to give you the best sales results?
Thus far, the Press Releases. This has generated quick and substantial traffic to JesusPhish.
Q. Which method of traffic generation has proven to be the best for you?
I prefer the linking and article generation methods via, the blogs.
Q. What is your biggest challenge each month?
The biggest challenge is that we have created a Virtual Internet Empire from the standpoint that it truly is a One Stop Shop.
The challenge is, What portion of JesusPhish do the potential customers most want and then to develop the marketing around that to generate the mass conversion I am seeking.
Q. What's the biggest mistake you've made since starting your business?
The biggest mistake is that I actually created a 'White Elephant' in the sense that it really does offer its members more than they want.
We have created our own VoIP Conferencing Solution, Christian Dating site, We host a Blogging System, we have our own store, we have been developing our own radio station for the members, and last but not least we have created a Personal Desktop Management tool that allows you to secure your files, photos, contacts, calendaring and task management (accessible from any computer in the world that has Internet) and more.
Can you see the problem?
Q. How has your lifestyle changed since you started your online business?
My lifestyle has yet to change for the good. That being said, we are in our infancy and the potential for JesusPhish is enormous once the target has been clearly identified.
Q. How has your SureFireWealth.com membership helped you with your online business?
The software and articles have been a great help and I continue to use them to further tweak JesusPhish.

Q. What would you say to someone looking to start a website in the same niche as you?
They need to research what the customers are buying, analyze cost, number of searches and adword ads and focus on that one product first and develop additional products and services for the membership later adding value to the membership on a regular basis.
