Q. Please tell us a little about your background.
A. In the last 5 - 6 years I have been involved in Career Counseling and Internet Marketing. Prior to that I had many years in Sales and Marketing. I have an interest in helping people achieve their potential and realize their dreams and desires.
Q. What made you decide to start a website in the field?
A. Because of my knowledge in this particular field and the demand for products and services.
Q. What kind of research went into this niche area before building your website?
A. I checked out the demand through researching different keywords, ie careers, jobs, resumes, cover letters, career tests, etc. Then I started developing content and looking for content sources. I then researched for affiliate programs to monetize the site.
Q. How did you design and build your website?
A. I developed the website template from one of the hundreds of templates I've downloaded in the past. It was then a process of planning and developing the look and feel of the site ensuring easy site navigation for visitors.
Q. What software do you use to run your business?
A. HTML editor and FTP program and also a Link Management program. I also take advantage of the "Automation Station" applications available through my web hosting account.
Q. How does your website generate income?
A. Income is generated through my own products, affiliate commissions, and Google Adsense.
Q. How do you collect payments for your products or services?
A. Through PayPal
Q. What promotion methods do you use?
A. Pay Per Click and continually adding new content for Search Engines. Link exchanges although I need to be more pro-active in this area. Writing articles and submitting them the article sites. Registering the ezine at ezine database sites.
Q. Which method has proven to give you the best sales results?
A. Search Engine traffic and PPC.
Q. Which method of traffic generation has proven to be the best for you?
A. Search Engines
Q. What is your biggest challenge each month?
A. Developing new content.
Q. What's the biggest mistake you've made since starting your business?
A. Not developing enough of my own unique content and taking too long in publishing my own ebooks.
Q. How has your lifestyle changed since you started your online business?
A. I'm in charge. I enjoy the challenge and flexibility of my online business.

A. Go for it. Do your due diligence, research, and get started. Remember it doesn't need to be perfect before you launch your site. Just start.
