Ideal for its target market, May 19, 2007
Reviewer: Lynn Lopez
I would really love to see this have a clean, vibrant layout, just to look fresh and encouraging to its target market. This website mainly targets people over 40 who want to switch careers or launch their own businesses and the articles and tips in this website are all pretty well-written. They're nothing extraordinary, but they do have very useful information. I can see this getting a lot more attention if it contained a regularly-updated blog which would talk about home businesses, career change for older people, as well as any news related to that topic, that way the content is always new. It's a pretty pleasing source of information on this topic, I believe, and the people behind this website would do well to keep the articles updated. I would also like to see how they will monetize the site and how they'll promote it--perhaps a free e-book is in order, so people can get a taste of the tips they have to offer here.

Professional website offering professional advice, August 25, 2007
Reviewer: Claire Madarang
This website offers practical information for anyone who wants a career change, even for those 40 years old and above. For those who no longer want full-time employment but their own business, this website also offers step-by-step information in creating a business.
I like how there are links to “small articles” from the main ones to guide the reader. The sitemap here is also helpful here as it describes each link and guides the reader.
I like the look and layout of the website, especially the shade of blue used here. The photos also look professional – they were really well-picked for this website. My only problem in the layout is there are some blue blocks in the pages with nothing in them. Also, I thought you only need to click on the menu buttons once, but in this case you have to double-click them, which is a bit of a nuisance. Finally, the several grammar lapses here decrease the professional impression I have of this website.
