At first glance, you may get the impression that this page is just a sales page for the main product, which is an e-book on taking care of bonsai trees. But you will find that scrolling to the very bottom of the page will show you links to the other section of the website, though, and this section contains a mine of information on bonsai care. If this section is meant to be a sampler of what you can expect from the e-book being promoted on the main page, you are going to be very disappointed. It purports to be a list of articles discussing different aspects of bonsai care, from art, gardening itself, and seeds, among a bunch of different subjects. It turns out that each HTML page just shows the same text, over and over and over. The creator should do his or her potential customers a favor and really produce some nice articles on the topic, just to show off a bit of know-how. Even a few well-written ones will do.

This is indeed a bonsai website – I can tell from the color theme and the font type in the background. The font looks simple but elegant, reminding me of Zen principles.
The sales copy is to the point and looks compelling enough to make a bonsai lover buy. They also offer a money-back guarantee and bonus books for the customer – offers that may be irresistible to some customers.
What I am having a problem with here, though, is why the menu is way below the page in small font. I thought at first they were advertisements or affiliate links but when I saw that the site map contained those links, I knew those were part of the website.
Also, I noticed that the links “useful bonsai resources” and “articles” which are beside each other direct you to the same page. Another link below, “bonsai articles,” also brings you to that page. Now why would they do that? They may have a point from a marketing perspective, but to the visitor – as in my case – it is just annoying.
