I am a big fan of aromatherapy, and I must say that this website is a great place to go to for information on that. I love the layout: clean and pleasing to the eyes. It is a combination of purple, pastel yellow, and white, and it is organized effectively. As a blog and website owner myself, I admire how the adsense channels were arranged, and they were placed strategically. If there was an award given for an ideal adsense arrangement in a website, this site would definitely be ranked at the top.
Even the pictures are monetized, and thus, to the marketer, you better pick up on this website’s strategy! It is not obtrusive for the user, and it actually isn’t an obvious ad, to the untrained eye.
Unlike so many other adsense-driven sites out there that are just eyesores, this one stands out for its beauty, order, and strategic placement. As a site viewer looking for information, the content is definitely not mediocre either. But there are spots that do need some editing, for grammar. But the content is great, very informative.
On the whole, this is a great paragon for marketers, and a great resource for customers/users. I give it 4.5 stars!

Needs improvement, but pleasant overall, August 06, 2007

This is a very simple and basic-looking website, but that counts as a good point in this case. It was made using a site builder, so don't be surprised if it looks similar to a lot of new niche websites.
This website is full of interesting articles and facts about aromatherapy, guaranteed to be of great help for people who are keen on learning more about it. The articles cover pretty much all the topics you need to know about when it comes to aromatherapy, and although they are not perfectly written, they are still really educational. This is a fairly good starter site and I certainly hope this will be expanded and improved upon in the future, particularly when it comes to the grammar. The errors can be somewhat distracting, so it would be a good idea to fix these.
All in all, however, it's quite a pleasing website, definitely one that shows the site owner's interest in the topic.

"Aroma-therapeutic," but not quite, October 01, 2007

This website covers all the basics about aromatherapy – from the benefits of aromatherapy and safety tips in using essential oils to nice-to-know interesting information like aromatherapy for weight loss and aphrodisiac essential oils. I also like that there are different aromatherapy recipes – for bath, skin and hair, treatment of illnesses, etc. I also appreciate that there is a freebie already in the homepage.
The website is easy to navigate. The layout is generally easy on the eyes, although I would prefer if it used the entire width space for a website. Since it is an aromatherapy website, I also expected relaxing colors like blue and green as well as photos showing relaxation and tranquility. Photos will especially be helpful to give the reader breathing space as this website is particularly text-heavy.
Many of the phrasings in the write-ups are awkward, though, and there are several grammar lapses. These are quite distracting and should be corrected accordingly.
