Q. Please tell us a little about your background.
I was born in Kent, UK and moved to Hampshire, UK when I was 19. I lived here untill 2005 when I decided to go to Albuquerque, USA for a "holiday" (were I met my now wife) and ended up staying there untill 2010 when I returned to Portsmouth, UK.

For the past 20 years I have been writing web sites and marketing them for other people. In the middle of 2011 I decided to write and market a few for myself.

Q. What made you decide to start a website in the field?
For the past 20 years I have been writing web sites and marketing them for other people. In the middle of 2011 I decided to write and market a few for myself.

Q. What kind of research went into this niche area before building your website?
Over the past 20 years I have looked at peoples trends and decided to create simplified versions.

Q. How did you design and build your website?
I basically use templates for the general feel then hand write the details (I don't like most of the design software).

Q. What software do you use to run your business?
My business' are server based and automated because, I guess, I am lazy.

Q. How does your website generate income?
Opt in and referals.

Q. How do you collect payments for your products or services?
PayPal and Alertpay mainly although a couple use e-Gold.

Q. What promotion methods do you use?
Too many to name really. Traffic exchanges, button exchanges, autosurfers, google ads, yahoo, SEO submissions to name a few.

Q. Which method has proven to give you the best sales results?
One particular traffic exchange and one autosurfer according to my google analytics.

Q. Which method of traffic generation has proven to be the best for you?
Same as the above answer.

Q. What is your biggest challenge each month?
Comming up with new ways to advertise and keeping track of "cross" advertising is one and another is thinking of the next site to write when the last one is taking off.

Q. What's the biggest mistake you've made since starting your business?
Hmmmm. Thinking that I knew "it all".

Q. How has your lifestyle changed since you started your online business?
Can afford to take it easy now although I don't. I find I get bored too quickly if I do.

To be very honest, I haven't been a member for very long. I have been reading a lot of the information provided and I can say that what I have read so far is highly informative

Q. What would you say to someone looking to start a website in the same niche as you?
Reasearch first. If things are not working out start changing things gradually. If you change one thing at a time, you can judge the results. If you change lots of things, you can't tell what worked.
