Q. Please tell us a little about your background.
Good day!

This is Jayson of Caloocan, the husband of Melissa and the father of Noe. I am a true-blooded Filipino and a full-time online earner. I believe that presenting SEO Filipino must begin with the introduction of the leader behind it.

Q. What made you decide to start a website in the field?
SEO Filipino is a product of my own extensive research and personal experience. Since 2007, I have been earning online while remaining at home in the Philippines, in Asia. There are two main elements which inspired me to put up this web site.

First, I have started out my Internet-based career doing online freelance work for clients in and outside several online marketplace web sites. Like everyone in any endeavor, I have had my share of ups and downs. My exposure to strategies and methods requested by my clients – from writing keyword optimized and highly informative articles to applying various aspects of effective and powerful web site promotion – is a key element in the formation of SEO Filipino. As much as possible, the methods which produce the maximum amount of results, are long-term and more often than not permanent in nature, are being implemented and continuously developed.

As time passes by, my efforts of honing my skills and professionalism are noticed by many clients. The problem is, I cannot address all their needs alone, no matter how versatile nor how quick nor how good I am with what I do. This becomes an opportunity for me – I am given the chance to train other people about life-changing systems, contribute to a nation’s struggling economy in the process, while remaining close to the ones I love – which I cannot resist to act on. This is the other important element which has sealed my decision to create this online platform.

Q. What kind of research went into this niche area before building your website?
Three years of solid experience and information demanded by clients - these are my research foundations. This website, Harvey Segal brought me to SFW, and I have been inspired by them ever since. And so, I also use the tips and techniques I learn from Harvey's books and Jeremy and Simon's products.

Q. How did you design and build your website?
I learned the basic skills and scoured the Internet for tips and tricks.

Q. What software do you use to run your business?
I just use wordpress for the website, autoresponders and an article to video converter. My partnership program is purely relationship-based as of now.

Q. How does your website generate income?
Filipinos who want to earn online pay for their training to be providers of search engine optimization services. I also have clients - business owners and managers - who enroll their personnel into my training program, and I get compensation for this.

Q. How do you collect payments for your products or services?
The paid products are availed via PayPal.

Q. What promotion methods do you use?
I use relationship-email marketing for Filipinos. I use the Odesk.com marketplace to help the Filipino providers find clients to get them started.

Q. Which method has proven to give you the best sales results?
I am yet to find out for I am doing some testing.

Q. Which method of traffic generation has proven to be the best for you?
I am yet to find out for I am doing some testing.

Q. What is your biggest challenge each month?
I have to attend to my personal clients (the business owners who want my services) and at the same time, I need to follow up on the progress of everyone under my training. I will be issuing certifications, that is why.

Q. What's the biggest mistake you've made since starting your business?
I postponed getting an autoresponder.

Q. How has your lifestyle changed since you started your online business?
I am at a transition period as of now. But as I am seeing the big picture, I know that with constant vigilance (that's from JK Rowling), creativity and the desire to provide solutions, I will be a formative agent of change for my countrymen. Oh, yes, I am earning more now that I have a website to boost my credibility.
