Q. Please tell us a little about your background. 20 year veteran in the retail industry, in management, operations and IT dept. Have gone through every dept in the retail industry from purchasing to store opening, etc.
Q. What made you decide to start a website in the field? Wanted to do something that introduces my home state to the world, gain experience in running a website, hopefully some income as well.
Q. What kind of research went into this niche area before building your
website? Not a lot. It was something I wanted to do, and after looking around the search engines, decided on my direction.
Q. How did you design and build your website? Used wordpress as I was somewhat familiar with it, user-friendly, search engine friendly. Used a premium theme and just did it.
Q. What software do you use to run your business? Just a lap-top, hosting reseller account, and wordpress.
Q. How does your website generate income? Adsense, hotel affiliate program, sponsored posts.
Q. How do you collect payments for your products or services? Wire transfer, bank transfer, cheque, cash.
Q. What promotion methods do you use? Social bookmarks, pings, social sites, but mostly organic search, blog commenting.
Q. Which method has proven to give you the best sales results? organic search engine

Q. What's the biggest mistake you've made since starting your business? Not selling to offline business
