Ted shared with us some amazing insights into his world of copywriting and sales including how he got started.
Some of the top copywriters in the world today were at one point (or still are) students of Ted's, he is simply amazing when it comes to putting words into sales copy.
Ted Nicholas started his first business at the age of 21. He had just $800 in savings and was $96,000 in debt. By the time he was 25 he was a millionaire. At 29 he was awarded the title “Entrepreneur of the Year” at the White House and he since has founded and sold 23 companies.
The first book he wrote took 1 ½ year to finish but it was rejected by nine publishers. Instead of giving up he decided to sell it directly himself and that decision started a publishing empire. He has since written 14 bestsellers and sold more than 3 million copies of his own books.
He is known as the copywriter’s copywriter. He famously wrote a single one-page ad that netted over $1million in sales and he has sold $4 billion of products and services in 49 separate industries.
He is a highly sought after public speaker and has spoken at over 300 seminars – And perhaps one of the highest paid authors, copywriters and speakers per word in the world.
