Brad's Next Big Thing, April 01, 2007

First of all...I am a HUGE Brad Fallon fan.
I saw FreeIQ as part of Brad's business vision presentation during Mike Filsaime's 2007Figure Business event in Long Island, NY in Feb. 2007
I also got to sit at lunch that weekend with Brad and Jeff Johnson and chat more about the project.
As a marketer, I specialize in Camtasia videos and this new platform immediately became a core component of my 2007 business plan and I signed up for the beta program before I even left that event.
Brad is building a service that will reshape the way video and other useful multimedia content is delivered and monetized on the Internet with files of unlimited size, the sharing of knowledge-based content, and a sales and affiliate model that is unheard of...
Oh...and it's free!
If I had 6 stars to whip out, I'd do it here.
Rock on Brad! I'm pullin' for this one...

Lots of good materials, April 24, 2007
Reviewer: Lynn Lopez
This contained some pretty engaging stuff. Initially, I was hesitant to check it out because I didn't want to have to sign up for an account, then it turns out that the videos are viewable even if you're not signed in, so that gave me a chance to take a look around first. If you want to review or rate the materials, however, you're going to need an account with FreeIQ.
Image and audio quality for the handful of videos I viewed weren't bad, and I love how you don't have to download anything at all to access the files, save for the PDF files available here. For those, you need to have a FreeIQ account. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's into Internet marketing and Web 2.0 stuff, but don't want to have to do any reading. The videos will make it easy for you to learn more.

The portal of the future!, September 12, 2007

Wow. A search engine just for free resources. I’ve been loving Google for the most part, but I am under the opinion that sometimes, the content being delivered is just not meaty enough. Not that it’s any of Google’s fault. It is just that because of Adsense generation and the boom of the SEO venture, where ad copy is optimized for Google, we are getting more and more results that are 70+ percent fluff. But thanks to FreeIQ, there is now a way to get better content.
While I had expected articles, this search engine-slash-marketplace is actually a repository of audio and video resources. When you type a search term, if the content or the resource is available, then there would be results that would appear, and you can have your pick of them.
The good part is that even the free results, whether video or audio, are all valuable, and though I have yet to come across written content, I am excited enough at the potential of this portal/repository.
What makes this a valuable resource portal is that their search engine results system is determined by the users’ ratings of the content. Therefore, the users have more control over the rise of the content up the ranks of the results pages.
The good: free _valuable_ content galore, innovative, and the clean lines and layout only serve to make me enthuse over this even more.
The bad: the content is mostly made up of audio and video. So if you are unfortunate enough to be on dial-up, then you may grow impatient as you are downloading the content you wanted to access.
But on the whole, I am loving this, and I’m hoping they get their patent approved soon, then roll out of beta!
