This is one inspiring success story. While other stories would celebrate the triumph of the human spirit, this is particularly a celebration of the triumph of the entrepreneurial spirit. Amanda Raab shows how taking the plunge and doing what you love reaps great rewards. While some of the entrepreneur in her may be inherited from her parents, who are also entrepreneurs, she claims to be a bigger risk taker, which worked well for her. She actually borrowed quite a sum of money to start the business. Risk takers, I believe, are closer to success as their ideas are limitless and bigger than they are. Even while studying, Raab successfully set up and ran her business, showing “busy” people that you can never be too busy if what you’ll be doing is something you love.
Sure, Raab had some not very good experiences in the business, like working with a public relations company that did not seem appropriate for her business, but she simply bounced back and looked for another. She just kept – and keeps working – at what she loves.
