Again, it's another small program that's easy to use, although I admit that when I unpacked the files and launched the program, I wasn't too sure how it worked. The program, which goes by the names 'Color Schemer', 'Handy Color Schemer', and 'Portable Color Schemer' (Which is which, anyway? I hope the creator will settle on just one name.), simply identifies the RGB and hex values of the color swatches shown on the interface. It gives you a good idea how certain colors will look. I also thought that the letters and numbers on the interface can't be copied, and it turns out that you actually can. So it's a lot easier for you to copy and paste the color values when you're working on a graphic design or web design project.
For those who don't know what HSV means (it's hue, saturation, value), the program features a View HSV Chart link which takes you to a chart. I think there should have been a brief explanation on this, however.
All in all, it's an adequate product, although I have to say there are better color analysis software out there. | |
