Forums have quickly become the most effective way to market your online strategies. However, randomly posting on Forums can quickly create a bad name for your business, or worse yet, have you banned from the site. Therefore, it is necessary to use proper online etiquette when promoting your online ventures in the Forums.
In these videos, you will quickly learn:
1. The importance of a proper signature,

Great for anyone who belongs to a forum, March 16, 2007
Reviewer: James Guinn
Not only do I run my own forum, but I am a member of about another 8 internet/affiliate marketing forums.
I don't understand how anyone who wants to be taken seriously in online business could use a screen name like "Sweet Cheeks" or an avatar the likes of Homer Simpson, or be so lazy as to ask simple questions they could find the answer for with a Google Search.
Forums are "serious business" for the serious internet marketer, and this video tutorial does a pretty good job of conveying this, teaching proper forum etiquette, the importance of "impression", and how to be a forum leader who garners respect and that fringe benefit called customers. I have recommended it on a number of forums. It should almost be "required viewing" if you are going to join a forum.

good for newbies!, July 31, 2007

This pack is a set of video tutorials that will set you on your way to marketing through forums. Forum marketing is a viral way to promote your products because people go to forums for help with other products, with software, to discuss issues, or to have a sense of community.
These videos are very basic, and they are very helpful too because they also introduce Google tips and tricks to help you with finding your niche forums.
A great part of this package lies in the software that it contains. These software not only help you in your forum marketing venture, but they also help ease your forum browsing experience. Push-button bookmarking, web crawling targeted to forums, with your own niche in mind, these are the pluses of the programs included.
Ways to improve the video: it would help if a voice-over with a more neutral accent were used. The Southern accent tends to confuse other people who are not used to hearing that English accent variant. It would be great if someone from the Midwestern area (neutral, standard "newscasting" accent) was the one who did the voice-over. And it would help draw in the customers if it were a woman doing the voice over.
Aside from that, everything had been simplified and they are absolutely useful to the newbie to forum marketing. I would definitely recommend this resource!

In this collection, you will be receiving four products: a video tutorial on Niche Forum Finder, tips on masking affiliate links (on video as well), a software--"a forum assistant"--called FASS 0.9 Beta, and a major video introduction to forum marketing, which runs for 20 minutes. The entire package weighs in at 28 MB.
Anyway, the whole thing focuses exclusively on forums and how you can make the most of them to do a lot of your promotions. The videos are really quite clear and are Shockwave Flash movies, viewable in the web browser of your choice. All in all, the videos are a great way for you to learn about the topic and the software is bound to lend a good helping hand to you, allowing you to explore forums as another way to promote your website. If you're a complete newbie to forums as well, you'll find this useful to you, too.

Passwords, anyone?, October 14, 2007
Three passwords are asked for when extracting the compressed file, and because I do not know what they are, the "Bonus Masking Affiliate Links With Redirects" video cannot be played.
Does anyone have the password(s)?
They should be available somewhere in the folder, or on the description page, but they are not. Because of that, I'm unable to offer this to my list.
Hopefully someone knows the password(s) and will post it/them here.
