| It is necessary to understand all about ftp and how to perform it in order to understand how to use this program. Not for the NEWBIE. |

I Love Keyword Explorer, February 13, 2007 |

Don't be deceived by this little gem's innocent simplicity! It installs in seconds simply by upload to a server. It then performs big-time - delivering you supply and demand stats for keyphrases like you'd normally find in some monthly billed service! Ken Evoy ought to SEE this baby for its simplicity. I LOVE this item and it powers my niche-analysis quite OK.

Wonderful tool, February 27, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Earl H. Roberts |
Create a new directory on your web site, then upload ONE little file. After that you can check out the popularity of keywords as often as you wish, free and without juggling back and forth.
The one hangup that I've found is that if you type in a keyword that has had no usage before you might be tempted to think the software is broken. For example, "illegal aliens" brings back NOTHING. Consequently, nothing happens.
Type in "insurance" and the page very quickly fills up. It was immediately apparent that CAR INSURANCE was the most searched for term. Therefore I whittled on down the lists for anything associated with that term and discovered the other factors that people are searching for.
As the terms are linked in order of requests I was able to devise stages for my page which will draw the reader farther in with each step.
I also found that Front Page works great for uploading the file and creating the new directory. In a matter of seconds the work was done and usage could begin.
This is one piece of essential software that works quickly, easily and wonderfully. Anyone with a website should have this tool working for them.

Sad Disappointment, March 13, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Faith Holler |
| This tool seemed to have great potential, but it falls flat. Yes, it is easy to upload. Yes, it is easy to use, and yes, it returns multiple keywords based on your initial search. Even the searches per month are accurate. But that is where the fun ends. When using the tool, I verified the results as best as I could with Google. I looked up “fuel economy.” Keyword Explorer’s Google results were 2,260,000. Google itself actually returned 13,600,000 results (sites). I do not see how to find accurate niche trends with results so drastically different. I tried other keywords with similar results. |

| Oh my goodness, this nice little PHP file is a lot more powerful than it looks, and the best part is it installs and runs just like a dream. Installing it is not a challenge AT ALL; you simply have to follow the instructions already provided. The whole process just involves creating a folder on your site and uploading ONE (yes, just one) PHP file to that folder then you can check out the URL and start running keyword searches. You can really get an idea how your targeted niche and keywords will perform and see for yourself exactly how often certain terms are searched and what results turn up. Granted, it's true that it doesn't provide the most extremely accurate reports, but it does a fine job of giving you an idea how your keywords will perform, nonetheless. This is indeed a very handy little feature to have your site. |
