Definitely on MY list of e-books to keep!, April 07, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lynn Lopez |
The advice given here seems like it applies to all kinds of writing, not just web content writing, so that makes it appealing to different writers. The way the author dishes out tips will have you convinced that you CAN write articles in the blink of an eye, plus the samples provided could serve as very good templates for your future articles. It's also amusing how one of the tips provided states that you should 'be wordy,' and it totally goes against many writing guidelines which encourage you to be as concise as possible.
And it's not just the article writing part which should hold your attention. It also mentions how you can create teasers to get people to read your piece and how to make engaging author bios. They're all very useful guidelines if you want to build yourself up as a content writer.
The writer of this e-book clearly knows all about producing good content so anyone interested in stepping up their article writing pace will find this very helpful. |

Now I understand..., April 15, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Jim Dickens |
Andrew Hansen has summed up a lot of material from other places and added some very excellent personal insights in this book. It is one of those rare books that have caused me to utter "Oh" while reading it. While others have said many of the same things, Mr. Hansen has finally said it in the way that I needed to hear it.
In one sense, it is two books in one. First it tells how to write articles that will generate traffic. Secondly, it tells how to write but creatively and structurally. |

So this is the secret, August 13, 2007 |
Very engaging and informative. Andrew Hansen let me in on his “secret” in a breezy, enthusiastic and seemingly effortless fashion. The report has a flowing quality – much like the flow Hansen advised to apply in article writing – that it is very easy to read. While I still believe in traditional rules in style and grammar consistent with Strunk and White’s “Elements of Style,” this report made me think that web content writing is a different world altogether and that some rules may be modified or even violated altogether.
After the introduction, the report already began offering useful information, particularly on what makes an article ineffective. Hansen also gave tips on how to do research without consuming too much time. He also shared his “Golden Formula” which is his advised structure for article writing. This section was very helpful as Hansen included one of his articles as an example to illustrate how to use the formula. A bonus towards the end is his tips for re-writing articles.
The only nitpick I have is the occasional grammar lapses and misspelled words – even in Hansen’s sample article here. While I appreciate the useful information I got from the report, I would also appreciate if it were double-checked before being uploaded. After all, editing and proofreading are also important. A grammar lapse or misspelling slows down a reader – and thus interrupts the flow of reading.

Amazing read! I won't attempt to make money off the Internet without it!, August 15, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Lorie Therese Locara |
When I opened the e-book, I didn't notice the bare-bones black-on-white-no-graphics look. I was immediately hooked with the title: Content Speed Writing. But what got me line and sinker was the subtitle: "How To Write Killer, High Quality Web Content
At Warp Speeds." To a writer like me, of course I would settle deeper into my seat (or in this case, my bed), and prepare to be riveted.
And riveted I was. If you want to learn how to write fast, write well, and write in a manner geared to sell stuff on the Internet like hotcakes or generate traffic like a bot, then this.. Is by far the best ever resource I have ever come across.
Though the system Andrew Hansen is using is almost exactly the same one I am also using, I can't help being thankful I came across this: because this e-book confirms that I have been on the right track all along.
I would recommend this e-book for those who are just starting on the web and web writing businesses because this would really be important to you, and I would recommend this to "veterans" like myself, because you would still learn a lot from this. I know I did, and I would read this again soon. |
