How To Write, Create, Promote And Sell An eBook On The Internet By Dirk Dupon

If you're looking for a straightforward guide that will tell you all the basic things you need to know to get your e-books published online, then you can take a look at this e-book. This jumps in straightaway to the meat of the matter, telling you all the benefits of self-publishing. The first couple of pages could really pull you in, I think, especially if you've been waffling for some time about whether you should push through with writing and selling an e-book. I don't really thing this guide is THE ultimate top-notch resource you should consult when it comes to writing and promoting e-books, but it does give you the basics, and it can get you started.
You'll find numerous links to useful resources in this guide, so be sure to make the most out of them as well. All in all, a reasonably decent e-book, could have been better written and more detailed, so supplement this with other readings.

pretty sensible, and gives hope!, November 26, 2007

Being a connoisseur of the written word, like Lynn, this e-book leaves much to be desired for me. But there’s one reason why I would encourage the download of this e-book: it gives the non-”writer” hope that he or she can and will profit online.
True, there is a gulf that separates the excellent from the mediocre, especially in writing, but in today’s blog society, that gulf is narrowing in an ever-gathering speed. With people being able to publish their own e-zines and e-books at the click of a button, there is no telling how easy it would be to be known for your e-”tome” (e-”big book” heheh) as soon as you click that upload button. And even if your writing skills leave much to be desired, take heart, with resources like these, and through blogging, you can improve. what’s more, you will actually improve your skills the more that you write.
And I believe that “You should always try to write like you speak to a good friend.” is the most sensible e-book writing advice I’ve come across in a while. :)

Brief but informative guide, November 28, 2007
This is a short but useful guide in writing and marketing an e-book. Originally this has been presented as short lessons which I believe are effective as each lesson functions like a step in the entire process.
The author Dirk Dupon gives simple, actionable tips in each lesson. The links to websites which can help in each step of the process are also a good resource for the aspiring e-book writer and marketer.
I agree with the author that writing is an e-book is about what you say when he said “It's not about HOW you write, it's about WHAT you have to say” but how you say it is also important. Saying it in an effective way will effectively communicate to your audience. If you have trouble communicating, your reader won’t get your message. And of course, if you have no writing experience, get a good editor to save your readers the headache of reading through faulty sentence constructions and grammatical errors.
All in all, though, this e-book is an informative read.
