Really teaches you to read the fine print, May 13, 2007
Reviewer: Lynn Lopez
I wish I had access to this e-book a few years ago when I complained about a certain webhosting company's services and policies. I had been using their services for a year when for fun, I decided to check out their Terms Of Service. Apparently, they were refusing service to people who did not meet their geographical requirements and although they didn't get wind of my location and didn't send me a warning, I still complained about the discrimination.
Anyway, enough personal anecdotes. It's true that it's a rare thing for people to read the fine print and this one will encourage you to look at your webhost's Terms Of Service. It also includes most of the commonly used terms and explains all about them. The e-book clearly tells the reader how to be responsible for his or her websites and includes helpful tips and reminders at the end. This e-book is a highly recommended read and everyone in the process of signing up with a webhosting company would benefit from obtaining a copy of this.

Web Hosting Fine Prints Danger Zone By Manny Jao
Eye-opening, February 04, 2008
This report gives a healthy dose of reality – wake up and read the fine print!
Of course, this report describes worst-case scenarios like your website being deleted, but it is better to be informed than sorry. Clearly, when your online business is the one at stake, I agree with the author that ignorance is NOT bliss.
The author did well by identifying the common fine prints and giving screenshot examples from real terms of agreements and related documents. My only problem here is that some of the fine prints here still remain FINE. Even if this report is doing screencaps, the fine print should have been enlarged if the text is too small already.
In general, though, the look and layout of this report are also well-done. I appreciate that there are highlights in blue font at the right side to summarize salient points.
Also, the author lays down measures on how to protect yourself and your website from the worst-case scenarios.
