I really didn't expect to enjoy this one and actually thought that it would be something that's a little too preachy, so I was surprised to have actually enjoyed it. This isn't going to be the kind of reading material that severely deplores and chastises young people. It's actually quite inspirational and you'll find that a lot of what it says is true. It's very thoughtful, very inspiring, and well-written. I don't know if you can do anything with this product, like sell, distribute, or resell it (its product page says it has resell rights, but that isn't mentioned in the e-book), but I still think it's worth a download, especially if you just want to read something that will definitely make you think. It's a great thing that this goes for free too, because most of the things it has to say can then be easily read by everyone.

The Real Problem With Today By Father Dave
Good point, September 11, 2007
In this address at a high school, Father Dave gives frank, direct, and unashamed statements about the ultimate problem facing the youth today – not drugs, not violence, but lack of a sense of purpose, or confinement to their own world, which, according to the speaker, may be just as bad as solitary confinement. The speaker supports his point through various examples, particularly of people he is close to. He shares his success of working with the youth and how he did it. He also illustrates how the problem of too many choices has paralyzed some people.
Though some people may disagree with the speaker’s blunt statements, they do offer something to think about. Father Dave gives a seemingly simple but is actually a new framework from which to look at youth problems – and how to solve them.
Father Dave gives a very powerful closing that indeed, some things are actually worth living for – and dying for.
