Yay, a new issue! I really enjoy The Nettle, and I thought this issue was particularly good. The main article "Whose Goal is it Anyway?" can really make you rethink your reasons for launching your own business and also helps you take a good hard look at your approach. The other articles are especially interesting as well, and you can even read a review of The Next Internet Millionaire here. It's also nice how you can learn more about new products in this issue, and also how you can read more than a collection of Internet marketing articles; expect some nice movie and product reviews here! All in all, this is a good issue, with plenty of delightful reads and tips on keeping your focus on your real goal. You should definitely grab this product if you're looking for tips AND if you want something that's a light and easy read.

Uh-huh, worth downloading!, September 12, 2007

The Nettle Magazine is an ezine/newsletter dedicated to web design and web marketing, owned by Paypershop, Ltd. It is a monthly subscription, and it’s totally free. For me, this month’s edition, “Whose Goal Is It Anyway,” is an excellent resource because of its main article, also entitled “Whose Goal Is It Anyway”.
Of course, it was clear to me that this e-book was ad copy. I mean, it’s free, and it was just filled with ads. If you’ve been in the Internet Marketing circles for so long, then you’ll realize that this is one strategy the gurus recommend for advertising: using e-books as an advertising vehicle. Pretty admirable! Well, at least to me, anyway.
Yes, despite the entire e-book’s worth being contained in the articles “Whose Goal Is It Anyway” and “How To Overcome The Curse Of Feature Creep,” these two articles actually make it worth your while to download and skim through the pages.
Yes, I gave you the tips where to look for this thing’s treasure, now go and download!

Could have been better, September 28, 2007
At first I thought this was an e-book, given the overall look and layout, with no columns and sidebars. It was only when I read the first article and saw that there were succeeding articles that I realized it was a magazine. There is a cover story as well as regular articles and columns, as typical magazines have.
To make the table of contents fit for a magazine, though, the pages there could be made clickable to direct the reader straight to the article. After all, the magazine is usually read by article, and not cover to cover.
The cover story “Whose Goal Is It Anyway?” is a good read and makes you assess your goals for your online marketing and home business, particularly if you’re going the way you really want. However, I do not see anything controversial with the article that the writer had to use a pen name.
Anyone into online business might find this magazine a good source for trends, though.

Thank you for the kind words.
Just one comment on the above, if I may. The contents page in the pdf document, ARE linked to the articles.
If they're not working, you may need to download the latest version of Acrobat.
