Good read for the Internet marketer, October 10, 2007
This issue of Nettle magazine contains articles relevant to the Internet marketer, with a witty and thought-provoking cover story on blogging and the product Blog Rush, used for ad exchanges between blogs. In the cover story, Dylan Campbell gives concrete, profitable reasons why you should blog if you are an Internet marketer. Campbell also gives several options for the type of blog you can create, depending on your time and preferences. For the magazine’s review on Blog Rush, though, I wish it had been a bit more detailed, giving reasons why Blog Rush is indeed a good choice.
The article on staggered consumption by Sean D’Souza is also quite an interesting read. His analogy between a blackberry tree and staggered consumption is not only simple but also gets the wheels of your mind turning. D’Souza uses this analogy effectively throughout the article, creating a compelling read.
The movie reviews and other light articles here, meanwhile, offer a good break from the more serious articles.

The Nettle Magazine - Issue 40 By David Congreave
It's not Affiliate Classroom, but it's good enough, October 10, 2007
Reviewer: Lorie Therese Locara
The Nettle Magazine certainly isn’t Affiliate Classroom, but you can surely pick up a thing or two from this e-mag. The movie reviews are entertaining, and the feature articles on blogging are really informative. Despite the fact that this e-magazine may not be up to Affiliate Classroom’s par, the articles discussing the importance of blogging and the background and kinds of blogging may prove helpful to your internet marketing business. Look for the article “Congratulations, It’s A Blog!”.
The only thing that didn’t sit that well with me is the fact that the e-book was, as the last Nettle magazine was, the layout was only too messy. Something you wouldn’t want to see from Internet Marketing experts.
As we know, we all are selling our services, our names and our reputation here. For our services to look slipshod would really raise eyebrows: with those who are trying to get ideas from us, with those who would want to do business with us; generally the public who are buying our products and services.
And yet, this is a free download, so I’m thankful that I can get what I need here. In fact, I have to concede that the “Congratulations It’s A Blog” article is so good, that I still felt compelled to keep the e-book. ; )
