The Attention Age Doctrine Part 2 By Rich Schefren
Good Web 2.0 Strategy Resource, December 09, 2007

I enjoyed this report. It reads well, covers some excellent tactics and strategies for implementing social networking in an online marketing strategy.
While most of the information and concepts are not completely new (many go all the way back to the Cluetrain Manifesto), it serves to reinforce the strategic direction all internet marketers SHOULD be taking.

The Attention Age Doctrine Part 2 By Rich Schefren

The content is good, but I have to admit that most of the graphics were really quite distracting to me. I guess that should be one way of grabbing the reader's attention? I must say that more subdued graphics with cleaner layouts can be a whole lot easier to read and may retain interest anyway. But I suppose flashier graphics tend to garner more eyeballs, so I suppose this one is fine.
Anyway, this e-book deals with the importance of attention and how it can help you and your business. This e-book provides quite a lot of tips on the upside of attention and why conducting your business online may be the easiest and safest bet for a lot of people, as well as the benefits of throwing yourself into Web 2.0.
If you seek to know more about how marketing can really boost your site's reputation, then give this e-book a look to know how.

I concede, Rich Schefren is essential!, January 04, 2008

I was prepared to diss Rich Schefren again for the hassle he put me through yet again: I had to download Adobe Reader 8 and I had to sign up for his email mailing list. I had started off on the wrong foot with his product again but I practically lost myself in his e-book and forgot what time it was.
Yes, his layout improved greatly. More uniformity, iPod-esque rounded corners, more slickness, and best of all, the icons are not as distracting as his past e-book.
The content: highly relevant. The diagrams: very helpful, even if a tad distracting. The bottom line: this is highly essential.
This e-book is more than a “brain dump,” as Rich says of it himself. To be honest, this e-book is one of the best and one of those that I would say that are truly up to date. This rides on the waves of trends, and I believe that you, as an Internet marketer shouldn’t be without it. ;)
And yes, I never should have trashed my Adobe Acrobat 8 in the first place. :p
