I liked the previous edition and I was pleased to see that this one has already been released. As expected, it contains a wealth of information on the terms, concepts, etc. that you will encounter when runnning your online business, and it's updated as well so you can be sure that you're getting the latest and most relevant information. This also contains the symbols for each category in which the article or topic falls under, which is a pretty useful guide. It truly lives up to its image as a very informative resource on online advertising. This is definitely worth downloading--and you really can't go wrong, since it's a free product. For a free item, it offers quite a lot of great information. You should take the time to read this one or print it out and find out how this can assist and improve your business. Top quality product.

Good Giveaway But Beware The Emails, July 30, 2007

I downloaded this book because it looked like a great giveaway for my site or as a list builder. And, after reading it - I still think so. Lot's of good information, not just for newbies, but most people.
But, here's the rub. There's about 20 or so affiliate programs that you can brand with your own IDs. That means if you choose to do so, you have to join these programs. No big deal. After all you will get sign-ups & make money through them.
Now, I signed up for about a third of the programs over the week-end. I'll do the rest this week, then start giving the book out. But, of the programs I signed up for, three of them, in just the 1st four days, have already sent me over 300 emails.
So, if you do give this away to your list, warn them - don't use their primary email to do this. Create a separate account at Yahoo or wherever so they can keep their real email uncluttered.
Bottom line - aside from all the excessive emails, this does look good, and I am going to use it.

If you need a guide on the Internet's potential as an advertising machine, this is the perfect one for you. The best parts of this e-book are its brevity, its use of ratings, and its great layout and attractive way of presenting the facts.
It covers everything from Affiliate Programs to Yahoo Search Marketing, and even the use of MySpace in advertising.
This is a comprehensive "Encyclopedia," but I wondered why it didn't include other social networking websites. But either way, I believe this is actually one of the most definitive primers on Internet Marketing around, and you shouldn't be without it at all.
What is great in this e-book is not only that it's packed with content that would really help you, which you can read in a fast-paced way, its topics are also easy to find, because the table of contents are... Clickable!
The layout is impeccable, and there is nothing you could complain about with this e-book. I'm keeping this in a special place in my e-book stash!

Wow, this is indeed an encyclopedia, albeit a more informal, conversational one. Information is not sacrificed, though – it is both extensive and comprehensive. I also appreciate that each advertising strategy is rated from one to five by the number of visitors it can get, the quality of your visitors (or how targeted your visitors are), and how fast it can generate traffic. These are very important, especially for those contemplating what advertising strategy they should use for their business.
If you are thinking of how to advertise your business online, this encyclopedia will open your mind to a wide range of possibilities. There are indeed many ways to advertise, and the author here discusses each way’s advantages and disadvantages.
In terms of formatting, I am glad that the table of contents is clickable to make things easier for the reader. I wish there were more illustrations to further clarify points, though, as is usual in encyclopedias. What is nice here, though, is that entries are cross-referenced, as in print encyclopedias, so it is easy to find a related entry.
