Very interesting ideas presented in this book about how to profit from real estate options.
Lots of facts and figures and examples laid out in this book. If you are interested in real estate this is a good book for you.

Options, in the right marketplace can work out to be a good investment but in a market like we currently have it could be disasterous.
Pros: In a "sellers" market can be lucrative
Cons: Book doesn't really share much of the downside of doing this with the reader.
Not a bad read if you want to know what "options" are, but proceed wiht extreme caution if you think this something you want to do.
Might be useful material to explore a niche with.

If you're really interested in real estate or have been involved in it for enough time to know and understand the terminology, then this book is for you. However, if you're just a newbie getting started in this field, your eyes may glaze over due to the terms used. But the good thing is, this is written in a nice conversational way so that should help engage your interest. Another good thing about this is that each section clearly explains every step the reader needs to do and provides some good examples as well. The author also provides marketing techniques you can use for this kind of business.
I personally would have liked to see more information about the author included in the e-book itself, though, just to establish that he really has been involved in this kind of thing and that his advice is based on actual experiences.
Another note: the page after the title page is just gray. The author should look into this in case there was some important information that was meant to appear here.

Real estate investing for dummies, October 30, 2007
This e-book appears to be a primer on real estate investing, or “creative” real estate investing, as the author put it. It gives you a background on the real estate business plus some definition and explanation of terms related with real estate deals, like “options” and how they work. It tells you where to look for good real estate properties to buy and how you can strike the best deal with the people selling it. It even gives you sample scripts to give you tips on how to talk with property sellers. It also gives advice how you can tell if you can work with a certain person or not. And, of course, there is substantial information here regarding real estate contracts.
I also appreciate how the author attempts to put the reader in the right mindset through his introduction. The author also has a simple, understandable style that can be seen throughout the book.
This e-book, however informative, though appears to be only applicable in the US, although some of the basic information here may be useful for people living in other countries as well.
