6 Forbidden Psychological Tactics By Dan Lok

To anyone interested in utilizing psychological tactics to get ahead at work and in life, be warned: this e-book is talking about forbidden psychological tactics you can use in Internet marketing and online promotions. Although admittedly, that WILL help you get ahead financially. You won't be getting the full package with this one, and at the end of the e-book you have the option to purchase the complete version, which has 41 more psychological tactics.
The contents of this e-book are well-written and nicely explained, plus it also provides some good examples to highlight each idea. I think it's also great that the content is of good quality so readers quite possibly won't think twice about purchasing the entire e-book just to be able to read more of what it has to say. You probably can get by with the six tips presented here, because they're very good ones, too.

6 Forbidden Psychological Tactics By Dan Lok
Not exactly forbidden, September 17, 2007
The tips here, though valuable, are not exactly forbidden. In fact, they have been advised in various marketing books. The word “forbidden” in the title was just used to get the attention the reader. Though it is misleading, it works, though some readers may resent is and feel a bit tricked.
Though the title says “47 Psychological Tactics,” the e-book actually only gives eight. The rest are included in an e-book for sale. Again, these words are misleading.
To his credit, though, the author Dan Lok has explained the eight psychological tactics here very well. He not only tells why they are effective – he also gives case studies of companies who used them and succeeded.
The use of color and different font sizes here plus the inclusion of boxed information makes the e-book easy on the eyes. For easier reading, though, the fonts should be big enough to set the e-book at page view. This is important as the text is placed in two columns – this is so the reader does not have to scroll back up to read the next column.

6 Forbidden Psychological Tactics By Dan Lok
beyond innovative!, November 12, 2007
Reviewer: Lorie Therese Locara
He knows how to sell ‘em, alright. With Dan Lok applying his own persuasion tactics in this very e-book, it’s hard to resist this kind of convincing. The principles and the theories here are not hard to grasp. These are run-of-the-mill tactics that television, Hollywood and basically all of the media industry is bombarding us with today. The only difference is that Dan Lok packaged it, rather effectively, for the wired audience.
Beautifully designed e-book, slick, professional, and complemented with a copy that just sells the ideas to you and compels you to buy in the process, this is the walking, perfect example of “leadership by example.” I was convinced, not by anything else, but just because Dan simply used what he preached in this e-book.
This e-book is by no means groundbreaking, but the way it gets you, hook, line and sinker, is what’s beyond innovative!

I went to buy the full ebook, it's fantastic, probably one of Dan's best sellers... anyway very nice insights that I already applied in my salesletters and even elsewhere like on the blog.
