I would personally consider this a great guide to the topic. Paid online surveys are sprouting up more than ever these days, and it's only right for people to know more about them before getting into them--not just how the surveys work, but which ones can actually help people earn some money. This product could not have come at a better time.
You're in for quite a long read with this e-book; it has a total of 103 pages. It has a pretty good introduction, and can also explain how surveys make you money and what you need for this undertaking (basically, patience). If you're stuck for some ideas on which survey sites to sign up for, it also has a good list of them; in fact, a major chunk of the e-book simply contains links and information about various survey programs. Just check the requirements as well as the location and you're good to go.
A good product, this one, despite the fact that the actual guide is shorter than the list of sites.

I love reviewing great books and wonderful products like this one.
This is a sure seller. The writing is terrific, the format is wonderful, the resources are powerful and comprehensive.
This is the kind of book I would sell for top dollar and not feel like I was cheating anyone. The customer will definitely feel like s/he is getting their money's worth out of this purchase.
All it lacks is a good sales letter and an ebook cover.
Now for the bad news .. The author has chosen to set this up as a giveaway book. She has her ads in it. The ads look great and the ads actually add value to the product, but they are still ads. To me that means this book must be given away or at least sold for far less than its retail value. What a shame.

Good guide, but more information please, October 29, 2007
This is the dummy’s guide for anyone who wants to make money through accomplishing surveys mostly in the Internet but also offline. Heads up to author Lynne O’Connor for writing an e-book about paid surveys – there are far more resources about online businesses than paid surveys. With paid surveys as a good moneymaking option in the Internet, an e-book like this would be a great help to newbies.
O’Connor gives a short but informative introduction about paid online surveys then separates truth from myth in this industry. This is a good reality check, as some may have the expectations that they can be millionaires from answering surveys.
The directory here of market research organizations looking for respondents in specific countries and internationally are also a good starting point for the paid survey newbie. The companies listed here look credible, particularly international companies like AC Nielsen and TNS.
However, more than three-quarters of this e-book is devoted to the directory. While I have no problem having a comprehensive directory, I wish there were more information. At the moment, the author only gives an introduction, some truths and myths, and tips how to maximize income before going directly to the directory.

Honestly, while everyone else is so optimistic about online surveys, permit me to be Scroogette today and let me burst your bubble. And even if you won’t let me, I will, anyway. :p
What I like about this e-book is that it gives the real picture of the paid survey scenario: it will not make you a millionaire. It also dispenses good advice on how to make a go of using it to make some money.
However, I am not convinced that paid survey work can ever become a career. Because as I’ve experienced, even the big-name survey givers haven’t been paying their survey takers. Even Yahoo and Google haven’t paid their survey-takers though I think those I took had come-ons of financial rewards. At the very least, my complaint is that they haven’t paid ME. Well, I’m not trying to discredit the search engine giants, or “paid surveys”. I’m just saying that I’m skeptical that these could truly work.
I had been a survey site member a couple of years back. They did seem to work, but because PayPal Philippines wasn’t available then yet, it didn’t work for me.
I just researched on paid surveys, and this e-book seems to have listed the credible sites, as a website had listed some of the choices in this e-book as part of the gaggle of legit survey sites.
But you have to be aware that each survey/email you complete actually earns you only a few cents. So while you will really earn, it will take you quite a while. You better just go for forum posting on certain paid forum sites. :p
