This is the first report I read on this topic, and I would say that it is quite educational. It tells you what goes on in online events and what you should do to make the most out of each one. As online events are different from face-to-face events, there is indeed another way to go about them. And also the best way to show your stuff. This report goes into detail on both.
And of course, the report offers valuable insights as well. One would well bear in mind this particular insight: “Remember, acceptance in a group, is based on not just the product you sell but your participation in that group.”
I wish that the authors also wrote about the criteria in choosing which online event-organizing group you should work with, though. I know they are an event-organizing group, and if they fit all the criteria, what do they have to fear if they advise on this matter?

Online Events for Beginners By Nancy Johnson

Online events may sound a bit scary for the uninitiated, so it's always best to take part in them with one's eyes wide open and armed with enough information about what really goes on and what one needs to do. It provides rather informative tips on what goes on at online events and is a decent guide, although you might note that the writer seriously needs to employ periods and commas every once in a while. Barring that detail, you will learn quite a bit about how online events operate and what you will be expected to do if you're presenting your product or your business. If you're looking forward to showing everyone else what you have to offer and what you do, then start learning how by using this guide.
This e-book is truly a guide for beginners. It's not something you can freely distribute however, so keep it all to yourself.
