WOW. I remember back in the days when I sold Real Estate, cold calling was all that was taught and the most dreaded task of the whole sales effort. Download and READ this ebook. A nice approach and alternative to traditional prospecting.

A good read to learn some basics for newbies and newbie toddlers. He does a good job leading you to his upsell product "The Definitive Guide to Modern Sales Prospecting."

This course is short, to the point, and valuable. Helping your friends and customer get that first customer to come to them is an exhilarating success they will appreciate for a long time.

It is a great mistake in the field of sales to think you need some complicated process or bush-beating action to establish your business. In plain language no one can misunderstand, the author touches lightly on each phase of the selling process - but provides enough depth that anyone interested in improving sales can take off running with the program.
As results come in, and they are sure to come in with this process, the reader will naturally fine tune the sales operation so it is personalized and working great. Your customers will be thanking you for introducing them to this dynamic tool.
If your customer list includes HomePreneurs, sales people, self-improvement searchers, or artist centered business owners this will make a perfect giveaway.

By being called a 'six-part course' I automatically assumed this one would consist of six hefty e-books within one e-book, but as it turns out, it's only made up of six chapters, excluding the introduction. The e-book is actually quite brief, with all of 18 pages. This e-book informs the readers on how to go beyond cold-calling as a marketing technique and explore other avenues. It specifically targets business owners and sellers who wish to use less in-your-face methods in promoting their products and services. It doesn't go into great detail about how you can grab potential buyers' and customers' attention, but it simply provides you with marketing methods and how you can keep your customers. I wouldn't call this a step-by-step guide you absolutely must follow when setting up your business and trying to promote it, but it simply gives you the basic reminders in marketing techniques. It's useful, but not something to keep long-term, in my opinion.

Yes, this is no longer your usual sales call but this is already marketing. Though the author, Eric Alan, calls it modern sales prospecting, this is already marketing. I cannot fault the author much for making the title like it is right now as it may catch more attention from those used to traditional sales.

The course, though not very comprehensive, already gives useful information. It begins with a compelling case study of a small business owner averse to making sales calls. The author then presents a solution to the said owner’s problem through his method of “sales prospecting.”

In this short course, Alan shows how to build a list of potential customers, how to market using a website and how to use leverage to make more profit. He also shows how to build your credibility among your customers and keep them coming back.

All in all, anyone starting a business may find this short course helpful.
