Good listbuilding tips, February 21, 2008
This looks like an e-course on building lists, though I would not say that all the ways here are easy, as the report title states. E-courses indeed look like a good way to get more web visitors to opt in your list, although I would appreciate if the author had not made a sales pitch on the e-courses they offer upfront so early in the report.
That aside, though, the content here looks like good advice. I most especially like the section giving different ideas on how to build your list. Some indeed do look unique and “gutsy,” in the author’s words. I like the idea about leaving your calling card with your web address along with your tip to the waiter.
The motivational quotes at the end of each section are a nice touch as well but should have been italicized or in a different font to differentiate them from the actual write-up.

I must say that I am not a fan of this product at all. I like the ones that really tell you how you can build your list and really gets into the details so you have a clear idea how lists can help your site and what you can do to keep that list growing. The quotes interspersed with the actual content, I feel, don't really push you to give it all you've got in order to succeed with your list. Rather, I feel that they're a bit distracting. It would have been better to have stuck with the actual tips themselves.
All in all, this is an okay enough resource if you want to know more about building your list, but it's certainly not the best one you could get. You might want to miss out on this one and do some serious hunting first if you want to find better list-building guides.
