This free report is to the point and packed with solid information about earning from your own software products.
As someone who has been in the development process for dozens of software products I can see Jeff is telling the truth in this report.
I also own some of his software products and he has quality products.
He has first done what he preaches which I respect, no B.S. here which is a breath of fresh air.

It's amazing how anybody can easily put out any kind of product on the market nowadays, and apart from the old favorite (e-books), software is also turning out to be quite popular. This e-book is simply a report courtesy of InstantSoftwareRiches.com, but this already reads like an authoritative guide on the subject matter. It tells you how to get your business up and running, how you can find programmers to do the work for you, how much you can potentially earn from this venture, and what kinds of software you can offer people. Simply put, this is a short, but very detailed report, one that will get you curious enough about producing your own software to sell, and a good sampler of what the website has to offer.

Good argument for software products, February 21, 2008
The author, Jeff Alderson, makes quite a good case for software products. For Alderson, the ease, convenience and profit of creating and marketing software products versus e-books win hands down. And he does have good points. E-books require more credibility and expertise from the author and each new e-book is a whole new project. The world of software is entirely different – definitely looks like more leverage and less hours of work.
In addition, the author shows just how you can cash in on marketing software products even if you are no programmer. The idea of adding software as a companion to your e-books to help the reader in applying the information is quite novel and sounds profitable.
But while you can market software products without a programming background, I still believe it pays to know the basics, especially if you do not personally know the programmer you are partnering with. Still best to exercise diligence and research.
